Not sure if this has been posted before, but this thread is so depressing I figured it would be nice to share the story of a girl who was able to break free from this lunacy and detransition. She seems to blame Tumblr for the initial damage and her counselor/therapist for unbelievably trying to talk her out of detransitioning. If you think about it that's almost more frightening than mom and dad pushing their own issues on these kids. There's only so much damage they can do, but therapists can affect many more kids.

I've been wanting to write something about how child sacrifice as a ritualistic means of securing safety/peace of mind has continued from antiquity to modernity, what with parents willing to put their three year olds first in line for getting vaccinated, their willingness to sequester children and ruin their lives for the sake of restoring the world to a pre-pandemic age, the trans kid nonsense, etc. When you start seeing it, you can't unsee it.

There was a meme about Greta Thunberg and others centered around the idea that children have now become the soldiers in a proxy war between adults. It seems apt because trans-kid parents wield their child like a flail and swing it at others to hurt them or damage their standing, edit: and they do damage! They're five year old weapons socially and politically. Fucking anime couldn't come up with this shit.

That massively disturbing thread chain from the last page had a couple connective "hmm" moments in it. The parents are old, it sounds like they had the first kid (supposed tranny) at ~35 years old, and they have a younger kid who is apparently some brand of tardo. This whole "geriatric pregnancy" trend is doing no one any favors, least of all the kids.
Both parents are fucked up too, the woman states her husband is "bi", aka a pervert, and that they both have adhds, muh anxiety, and possibly other 'tardation, whether real or imagined. She manages to slip in that she is fat - she literally states that she is obese - and adds that the tranny-daughter is also fat, that it looks "just like her" or whatever.
Among the mental ruins lies a tidbit where the woman says the younger tardo daughter has been exposed to pornography as well, implying that it's a serious issue and/or has caused some kind of psychological fallout to occur. It's all very sick and you can't help but wonder what's going on behind the scenes if this is the freely-provided information.
To summarize: Shit is FUCKED UP, yet this appears to be a tranny enabler that has some kind of self-awareness, at least enough to question parts of the narrative and whether the daughter is a trender or otherwise being influenced. If this is what the "moderates" are like, it certainly paints the hardliners as being wholly (and unapologetically) criminally insane.

Sadly, this is only banning any treatment that isn’t gender affirming, which is why it’s contentious here (and there’s been an attempt to rush it into law). The ban is on “conversion therapy”, which is great for gay people, of course, but trannies take that law for good and use it as a weapon, as usual, and scream that any form of questioning of a tranny’s gender feels at any point (even if they’re a five year old kid) is CONVERSION THERAPY and CAUSES SUICIDES. If your kid says they want to be a dinosaur, you laugh it off. If your kid says they want to be a girl, you’d better damn well support them, because there’ll be no therapists anywhere in the UK that will be allowed to say anything other than “hurrah your trans child is super valid and brave”.
