Anyone else here like it? I drink it every day. I prefer Folger's with Darigold vanilla cream.
Ironically enough Starbucks has their own line of instant coffee called Starbucks Via and it's iffy, some of the blends are decent (their Christmas blend is one of the better ones, I actually have some left and they're supposedly good until June) but the rest taste like burnt varnished wood. It's not Starbucks so it's all good. $2-3 for an 8 ounce glass jar that nets like 50 cups is obviously superior to a $5 cup of warm fluid that has the faint taste of what I fear is a drug addicted alcoholic homeless man's semen in it.
I'll occasionally have it if I can't grind my beans for whatever reason (usually due to having a craving late at night) or if I'm on the road and I don't wan to deal with the shit that gas stations and cheaper hotels have the gall to call coffee.

but why? you can get realy good coffee at gas stations. As long as it's heavily dressed in creamer I'd drink it before I do a gas station coffee.
It varies from person to person. Barring their Christmas blend I can't stomach Via's dark roasts but I can tolerate their medium and blonde (AKA light) roasts. One thing I've learned is that Via is somewhat different from other instant coffee brands thanks to Starbucks including coffee that's been "microground" along with with the usual freeze-dried coffee extracts that make up a majority of other brands. It's like wait guys, some people think we're too expensive, how do we market to them?
Not very well, from what you are saying here.
I believe we're talking about the latter. AFAIK instant coffee brands that include dried dairy, sugar, and occasionally other flavorings are meant to mimic espresso-style drinks.I'm not very bright so do people mean instant coffee as in the satchel type of stuff that has tard cum or cream in it and you just add hot water? or the stuff in a glass jar that you just add some hot water and if you want tard cum or cream you add it? If it's the latter i love that shit, i drink it with 2 tea spoons of coffee and 2 sugars with some tard cum, if it's the satchel stuff i find it tastes a bit different, it's alright but would prefer the jarred stuff.
There are trips I take following consistent three hundred mile route in which I've had every gas station coffee available. The worst had to have been sitting in urn for over a day and the best is instant poured by a machine which always has a slight grittiness. I'm speaking only by my experience and not for all gas stations the world over.but why? you can get realy good coffee at gas stations.
They donw make it fresh with a professional machine? thats disgusting. The worst had to have been sitting in urn for over a day and the best is instant poured by a machine which always has a slight grittiness. I'm speaking only by my experience and not for all gas stations the world over.
Interesting to know gas stations seem to always have good coffee no matter the countrybut why? you can get realy good coffee at gas stations.
I mean its not much work, Its one machine (or more if you have alot of traffic), it needs cleaning once a day(takes 5 mins) and you get good coffee from bean to cup.Interesting to know gas stations seem to always have good coffee no matter the country
