EDIT: So.. That's what happens when you use the report function to ask for a thread title change to clarify something. Had it coming I guess.
So, getting a bit bored of playing nameless faceless people online, and was wondering if anyone would be up for a round robin tourney for Blood Bowl? We'd need at least 8 players myself included, and would be using the free FUMBBL client for it.
If you were to join, you'd need to be able to set aside at least 60-90 min every week for a match, although it should be noted any OS that can run JAVA can run FUMBBL, it's all 2d and sprite based, so the only real requirement is a screensize of at least 1024x768 which is the client window size.
The only real rule I'd have for it is that there shouldn't be more than 2 of the same race in order to create some variety. Anyway if you're interested please say so below.
Edit relevant to new players only: For new players there are two resources I want to give. The first is bbtactics.com, which has excellent guides for team builds and general strategy.
The second is WowCrendor's 3 min guide to BloodBowl, which covers all the bare-minimum bases in a rapid video. Not that this video uses the retail game not FUMBBL, but the rules are identical.
And here's the link to the full tabletop rulebook, which is a bit of a read, but covers literally every rule obviosuly. Needs a PDF reader. http://www.bloodbowl-game.com/files/BB_LRB6.pdf
