While I can't really say that I disagree with this as I said you need keep in mind that he is in his 40's and has been abusing his ankles by autistically drumming for possibly hours every single day. Depending on how much he was drumming (and we know he is absolutely OBSESSESED with music, very much past the point of good sense) he may have the ankles of a man 20-30 years his senior. Arthritis can be pretty debilitating. But then again it could also be him making excuses so he can have more access to the female streamers that might tag along on the RV trip, I won't pretend like I know.
Look at who normally buys RVs. Retiree's in their 60s and 70s. The peddles on them are so light and over assisted you get almost no feedback.

I really hate to powerlevel like this but I am quite familiar with the effects of DXM since I used it quite a bit when I was in high school. I won't talk about it too much but it would explain his general weirdness (it is a dissociative and makes you feel generally alienated from your surroundings/the world, if that makes sense) and it affects your perception of music, making it seem more interesting/novel. Honestly even when keeping his concussions in mind I feel that this does more to explain his strange behavior.
You should probably be aware that IP2 message board users are constantly a-logging random streamers or other posters for who knows/cares what reason and they are not above false flagging just to stir up drama and try to turn this board into their personal army. Not trying to congest the thread with drug talk, just want to provide quick clarification for future DXM brain damage speculation.
Ankles are very involved during drumming, generally a standard set has a pedal for the hi-hat and either a single or double pedal for the bass drum. If you're a metal drummer you tend to go pretty hard on using that double pedal, which I imagine our friend does.
Honestly the DXM abuse makes complete sense, especially if he's mixing it with that booze. This dude probably wakes up and immediately experiences derealization all day.
Unfortunately most drummers aren't chads and are mostly sex pests and/or really self destructive. Take for example Keith Moon from the Who and John Bonham from Led Zep they both overdosed.

As a guitar player who has hurt themselves on many occasion pulling hand, wrist, arm and chest muscles.. it is for sure possible. More so if there is an underlaying condition. So easy to hurt yourself , repetitively doing anything you're going to hurt yourself.
