So apparently Jcub was at the recent King Soopers Market shooting in Boulder, Colorado; he was able to capture a few harsh scenes from the crime, including at least three downed bodies and possibly the last footage of the officer that was killed at the scene.

The whole setting of some of both Alice and co. and this other dude and his inevitably short-lived marriage is what helps make it so trashy. It's Las Vegas, city of sin, all that, and it's so versatile too. You can have all the desolate landscapes you need when a mentally-ill woman goes after another mentally-ill woman, you can have all the street scenes where our protagonists meet some decidedly unfriendly locals, and you have the interactions in normal stores and restaurants as a way of keeping it grounded until their antics get them thrown out.
Now all a producer needs is to play up whole the "What happens in Vegas..." angle, do some fancy editing to keep the most interesting parts, and a voiceover to better tie the segments together.
