A teenage daredevil scaled the Queensboro Bridge Thursday evening and livestreamed the stunt to an audience watching online.
Malik Sanchez, 18, climbed up onto a support beam of the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge — high above rush hour traffic below — just before 5 p.m., police said.
The teen, who lives in Manhattan, was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment, criminal trespassing and unlawful possession of noxious matter. He had pepper spray on him which he handed over to officers, police said.
Sanchez streamed the whole climb and police standoff on Youtube under the username “Smooth Sanchez IRL.”
He walked onto the bike and pedestrian pathway of the bridge on the north outer roadway and then climbed up a side support of the bridge to the upper roadway. From there, Sanchez scaled one of the horizontal beams towering high above cars passing below.
“This has been the time of my life,” Sanchez said as he scaled the beams. “I do this for fun.”
Viewers sent money to Sanchez during livestream as he climbed higher and higher. An automated voice played the donors’ comments — that were mostly vulgar and offensive — during the stream.
Sanchez spoke to his viewers during the climb.
“One wrong step and I could really fall through these cracks, but it will be a worthful [sic] death,” he said to the camera. “If I do fall, I will fall and I will laugh all the way down.”
Police officers showed up during the livestream after a 911 caller reported seeing a man scaling the Queensboro Bridge.
“ just wanted a better view, but now of course police arrived and sabotaged my plan,” Sanchez said as the NYPD arrived on scene.
He sat down across the beam with his ankles crossed nonchalantly as an officer from the NYPD’s highly trained Emergency Services Unit scaled the bridge.
“This would suck if I get arrested, right?” Sanchez said.
He then addressed his mother and family members and asked them to access the livestream donations through his PayPal account.
“If I do get arrested, access this and get the King back out in New York please,” Sanchez said, referring to himself.
Sanchez told officers he appreciated them and is not suicidal. He appeared to cooperate with the officer, who brought him down safely.
He was taken to Cornell Hospital for psychiatric evaluation before being discharged and arrested, police said.

Wow, what is his problem? He says he isn't suicidal but man, he has to be insane or have some mental issues. I get the "content" and wanting to portray an image or play a role, but he seems to be doing outrageous things that aren't exactly the smartest things to be doing.
Considering he is not carrying content spray (mace) tonight, I'd rather wonder when he gets knocked out.

Now see, if he didn't act like an ass, he could probably have a chance at losing the V card. If acted like a nice guy, like Russell Greer HAHA, he maybe could have at least struck up a friendly convo with that girl that might have led somewhere. For the Halloween stream, he's keeping it under wraps and it's implied that he regrets doing it.
He refuses to comment on the bridge incident because it's a pending court case. The fact that he is back streaming should at least tell us that he can't be in serious trouble. This is not an Arab Andy situation. Depending on how stupid he gets in the future, that might change lol.
Concerning the incel thing, you realize that it's (at least in part) an act? He has gotten numbers on stream before. He is not ugly and doesn't lack self confidence, so I would assume he is not a virgin.

To be honest, I first saw him do a stream during the civil unrest period when he was getting stupid white people to take a knee in front of him. I thought he was funny and was doing a good job trolling people IRL. Then the bridge thing happened and that really piqued my interest in him. So, I don't know too much about him but assumed because he was acting so much like a retard that when I saw your clip of him doing ER, I thought oh that explains why he is macing women and climbing bridges. You never can tell when they pull that shit if its just a big con and troll, or there is some reality to what he says and does.
I guess if he isn't a virgin, or potentially isn't one, why would he pretend to be an incel? I mean as we both note, he has nothing of a physical nature that would prevent him from getting laid. So, assuming he is just pretending to be an incel, he shouldn't use that as a troll persona because he could probably get more pussy if he didn't act like an incel! I agree that he is an interesting fellow. While it could be argued that he is doing bottom of the barrell "harassment content", he can be quite witty and creative at times. Also some of the stuff he is doing requires huge balls or huge amounts of autism. Probably both. Sanchez certainly has a weird fascination with the incel movement. He regulary references Elliot Rodger and Travis Bickle but also mentions being a PUA. People naturally gifted with women have no need to look into pick up art. Pairing that with his incel antics, chances are high he used to have issues with self confidence but eventually overcame them?
Sanchez really started blowing up with his BLM trolling. He hasn't been around very long in the IRL streaming community. People first noticed him as a stream sniper of Carl a few months ago. Both of them are connected to IP2 (https://ip2.online/ https://ip2always.win/), so their edgy humor and content make sense. I'll eventually have to make an official IP2 thread because there is so much funny exceptionlism and autism in that community.
