I think Sonichu has a better plot, character development, and dialogue than Dobson's comics, but Dobson's artwork is much more aesthetically pleasing.

Dobbo is more technically skilled, but kind of bland (apart from his ink stuff. I think his flat coloring is his main problem). CWC draws like a literal child, and while some of his work has a manic energy to it, other parts of it were obviously rushed (you're not going to tell me that one of CWC's patented white background with 50 unordered speech bubbles pages has soul to it). On an overall artistic level Sonichu is more interesting and more fun to discuss. The artist's strange and well-documented life allows for a level of analysis you can't really get for Dobby.

They are both equally bad artists at different levels of style and detailing. Both trace, have a serious lack of anatomy (and cartoon anatomy) and aren't expressive. They are cookie-cutter as fuck.

dobson had real art classes AND GOT WORSE. chris is untrained and still is more successful than that hack dobson.
