I feel it's more he's incredibly ignorant, and believes numerous stereotypes on TV are how those ethnic groups really behave, rather than him being a typical Southern white bigot. Though shouting at the black kids at the Game Place and calling Tito the "N" word are pretty big offenders.

Listen to him talk to "lars" while speaking "ebonics". After you finish laughing like a stoned bonobo you will have your answer

I think he's incredibly ignorant about black people, but I don't think he holds any real malice.

He's not going to burn a cross in a black person's front yard, but that doesn't make him not prejudice.
According to eye witness reports Chris has exhibited major racism to black children based on black sterroytypes/

Short answer

Yes, but no black person, or an other ethnic group, will suffer because of it.

He's a casual racist, the way a retarded person would be if their genuinely racist parents were racist around him all the time. The extent of his racism would manifest itself by calling people Jews or dropping the N bomb. He would never actively pursue anyone to persecute them. Not when there are so many cartoons to watch on TV.

"I'm going to smack your face down... monster card..." Chris is an aversive racist: he knows next to nothing about actual black people (as evidenced in the Lars Call) and therefore fears them, and things that he fears getting up in his space make him BLANGRY and loose-boweled. His ignorance-based racism is also why he had no idea that "Ching Chong" was a super-common racial slur for Asians, and why he thought that Jewish people enjoyed being given single, candle-shaped cookies on other people's holidays. When anyone but white people enters his mental space, including the kids he accused of stealing his Pokeymans (and of course Marvin in his snazzy brined-cucumber suit), he gets confused because it's so off-script for his life in general. (Question: Has anybody spotted one kid of color in photos from his school years, up to and including that prom/graduation dance thing?)

When he was a water boy for the high school basketball team. I'll bet Bob loved that.

Oh snap, you're right. Serving the physical needs of black guys. Gotta love it. So Joseph Herring, the other water boy, makes it into the comic (albeit disfigured), but the guys with the coordination needed to play the actual game are lost to Christory.

I guess I meant more in a social context, like the dance, but that's quite funny in context too.

I completely agree with this. It's just learned behaviour from Bob. I don't think he actually knows what he's saying when he makes racist remarks.

He's impossibly naive about other races, and will use what few slurs he does know against his "enemies", be they imaginary or real.

Marvin isn't black. There were two picklemen, Marvin and a black dude.

I think Chris is like a lot of people who seem racist. They aren't necessarily racists, just racially ignorant. If you were really angry at a woman and called her a bitch or cunt, it doesn't necessarily mean you're a misogynist, you were just really mad and made a slur against her gender. Just like when Chris called Tito a niggo, it may not mean he was racist he was just trying to hurt Tito and thought a racial slur would do it.

"Chris can't be racist, he voted for Barack Obama."
But seriously, I don't think he's that racist. I think he just never had any friends who were black, so he doesn't really know how to act around him. And I'm sure Bob wasn't too helpful with Chris' perception of black people.

Im gonna go with Chris just being ignorant of other races.Chris is also very reactive in the sense that when he gets angry he will say damn near anything to try to hurt whom ever has angered him (like calling snyder a jew or tito a nigger).but i doubt he would ever just say "hey look at that nigger over there" or some thing that would be truly racist like that.

Chris isn't intentionally racist, just very ignorant (partially because of da autism). He probably got Jew from South Park and doesn't understand what it really means to flip someone off and call them a Jew. As for black people...his parents may or may not be racist. All we have to go on are a few off-color remarks made during troll phone calls and one bad joke (from a Republican reacting to a newly elected Democratic president). They might just be products of their generations. The things they say now are in bad taste, but were perfectly normal when they were younger.
