Is Christian a furry? -

Lets discuss whether or not Christian is a furry. There seems to be an awful lot of yiffing in Sonichu and even Chris in the comic turns into an anthropomorphic hedgehog abomination. And if I remember correctly Chris himself had a membership to Fur Affinity or some other furfag website. So I think there is evidence to state that, yes he is a furry.

My answer is "Probably kind of". He'd never take on this label, but I think he's probably turned on by anthro characters. He took a lot of really sexual anthro porn from ED for that elevator scene, mostly Sonic and anthro Pokemon I believe, and had Sonichu and Rosechu getting aroused by it. Added to all the cleavage he insisted on drawing, even when Megan told him it was creepy and gross, and the sex scenes, he's definitely got furry tendencies.

The furry subculture is something you choose to associate with. Walt Disney drew anthromorphic characters like Mickey Mouse, but I doubt he'd call himself a furry today. Chris draws Sonichu and wants to provide him with a relationship, so he made Rosechu.

I know this has been a hot question for a while. I don't think he's a furry. I think he just likes his Mary Sue being part Sonic because Sonic was his hero. Had Clint Eastwood, John Wayne, or some manly man been his hero, this question wouldn't exist.

Really, in general, Sonichu was an important vehicle for Chris to promote his views on everything. For example, Sonichu and Rosechu have their perfect relationship and how they met was a cliched "love at first sight" thing. So, I think it was more important that his characters were female (or that something else was perfect his way) than they were animals.

That's something of an understatement....

However, I see the comics as nothing more then simple wish fulfillment for Chrissy and no one ( to my knowledge) pushed him to do anything furry related while he was drawing it so I'm on the fence on this one. He sure loves Sonic, Pokeyman and those damn Ponies well enough that he may very well be a closet furry. We just have no evidence of it yet.

Although with all the other crippling mental issues he has I think being a furry would be the least of his worries.

I totally agree with that. I think porn is porn to Chris as long as it involves something with tits and a vagina more or less. Of course he's going to draw Sonichu and Rosechu - avatars of Chris and his mate as he'd like them to be - in a sexual manner, because he's using them to project his own fantasies.

I agree that furry is something you choose to identify with, too. Chris doesn't get off on Rosechu because of her fur and tail, he gets off on her because she's representative of his sweetheart and thus basically human.

Whenever I come across a furry artist's bio, there is usually some mention of how they were inspired by Warner Brothers, Don Bluth or Disney cartoons, but people seem to forget that those shows and films have human characters as well. That is why I have trouble drawing a line between the furry fetish and the cartoon fetish.

In Chris' case I would lean towards cartoon, as he has/had a thing for the daughter from Family Guy. Or maybe he's just into anything that has tits and no pickle.

I think it depends on what you mean by "worse". If you look on youtube you can find a lot of people giving speeches to their high schools and universities about how much they love "My Little Pony", which I find absolutely bizarre. Why would anyone think people want to hear about their love of a children's television show? You don't see people giving speeches about any other television show, period.

Regarding the thread topic, I am with the people saying that Chris has furry tendencies but not an all out furry himself. I imagine he probably just draws sexualized female animal things because characters from his childhood were around then. Like if he played Starfox Adventures, Krystal in that is basically the worst anything ever.

But back on topic, Chris isn't a furry really, he isn't even really involved in the Sonic fan community. He is a brony although he never actively talks to /hangs out with other bronies, because he has no friends, so you can't really say he is very involved in brony fandom either. Chris is his own little, lone island.
