I don't know why people are trying to extend the definition of grooming to include both good and bad situations, that seems to me to be a very slippery slope.

I'm willing to accept the idea that there are circumstances where it turns out to be fine for the affected party and they somehow go on to live a healthy relationship with the groomer.
