all i did was search for a cartoon character in the search bar and look at a single account
does twitter really have an algorithim looking for the terms "kf" or "kiwi"? even in the file name of the avatar i uploaded?

Goes deeper than that, they check what sites you visit and ban you accordingly. They also ban you if you block their cookies.

Twitter and other mainstream social media sites will have stronger automated algorithms. Wouldn't be surprised if they checked your cookies and saw you were here, then cross referenced your username.

This is why you need to diversify usernames and use browsers/plugins that block tracking.

I’ve had this happen to me, I emailed them and said I didn’t want to provide a phone number as my emailing them was proof I’m not a robot. They did unlock it pretty quickly, no number required. It’s more likely a clumsy attempt to stop bots than being related to KF/your username.

I made an account 2 days ago that was instalocked god knows why (used a lolcow email tough maybe it was that), they wanted me to provide a phone number, I sent an email to support saying "I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING I DON'T WANT TO PROVIDE A PHONE NUMBER WHAT NOW" and they unlocked it the next day, give it a try
