Is kiwifarms a right-wing circle-jerk? - Should I leave?

I'm a libertarian anti-communist and even I feel like a bleeding-heart leftist just because I'm unwilling to give Christian extremists a pass just to get at Islamists (not the least of which because I don't think it'll work, since the last time Christians fought Muslims they were barely able to fight them to a stand still). Maybe I really am just too much of a liberal to post here. If that's the case, I'm more then fine with leaving quietly (different places on the internet appeal to different people, and if this isn't my clique, this isn't my clique). Honesty is appreciated, and thanks for the responses in advance.

I am unironically a radical feminist and a Marxist and so are plenty of other people here. Nobody thinks you're "too liberal to post here", you're just a frothing autistic sped who can't keep your spaghetti in your pockets when it comes to organised religion and we're all going to laugh at you every single time religion comes up because you consistently lose your tiny damn mind over it.

still mad that your autistic "religion equals communism" rant thread got locked?
I'm more mad at myself for not knowing how to broach the topic in a less autistic fashion.
I'm a bit liberal tbh.

I just like laughing at rëtarded people

Why is that so hard to understand?
Autism, sorry.
So why did you make this thread?
Good point.
If you're here for dumb politics instead of laughing at exceptional individuals you probably should leave, friend.
Another good point.

This is your problem.

Your idea of a good place to post is somewhere where nobody disagrees with you. Take a stroll through Community Watch and see what happens to online communities where only one opinion is permitted.

There's plenty of people here who I disagree with politically, people to the left of me, people to the right of me, people with views so strange I don't know how to even classify them. But what's good about this place is that I can hold a discussion with those people about issues, about ideas, and nobody gets triggered or cries to the mods because someone hurt their fee-fees by doing a wrongthink. The only thing that will get you bullied here is over-reacting and getting mad that people dare to have a different opinion to you - which you have experienced.

If you can't handle people with ideas that are not yours without sperging out, maybe this is a good opportunity to learn to do that rather than just flounce away?

Edit to add: if you do have the 'tism, dealing with people different to you without setting yourself off is a genuine skill that you will need for life, and one you will have to learn intellectually rather than instinctively. I'd say this place is one of the better places to gain that skill, partly because it's pluralistic, partly because it's easygoing on disagreement and has a culture of "lol calm down" and not taking things too seriously, but mostly because it's full of complete autists who understand the struggle to be socially accepted and are willing to overlook your mistakes more than other places might be. We have a number of regular posters here who started off as dreadful spergs, or even full-blown lolcows, who have used this place to learn social skills and be accepted into this community. None of them have had to change their opinions on politics etc to do that, just slowly and manually learn to get along with others who are different from them. This place could be a good opportunity if you treat it as such.
