The Woke Left are essentially useful idiots LARPing as revolutionaries that are in truth being used by neoliberal oligarchs as a cudgel against legitimate populist movements that pose a threat to their power.

Just look at the reaction to Donald Trump: he and his movement were slandered as racist, sexist white supremacists as a justification for their unpersoning and siccing the Woke Left attack dogs on them. They concocted a narrative that they were brave resistance fighters battling a powerful oppressive force, obfuscating the fact that they have the media, academia, Big Tech, the Deep State, and a large portion of the rest of the U.S. government on their side.

Another recent example is the GameStop stock fiasco: a bunch of Redditors struck back against the Wall Street hedge funds and were slandered by many Twitter activists and media outlets under oligarchic control as various kinds of bigots.

What these examples illustrate is the false illusion that is put up by the establishment and their puppets that they are fighting the power when in reality, they are the power.

At the risk of sounding antagonistic and potentially getting banned. With this sort of talk, why not just end your life right now? Seriously, what's stopping you from doing that? Clearly you've already decided that your life isn't worth it. So what's going on in your life that got you to that point?

I've been thinking about this for a while, and rather than derail another thread, I thought that it would be better to give it its own thread.

I believe that it is clear that the powers that be in our Neoliberal order are embracing a generic "wokeness" as evident in advertising, Hollywood, Big Tech, government, etc. Many on the "Right" are convinced that this means that we are sliding towards socialism or that the Establishment has been "hijacked" by the Far Left. Personally, I don't think this is the case. Most conservatives are simply in denial as to the nature of the Establishment and why they've embraced this general woke trend.

The reason why the Establishment tolerates it, or even promotes it is because those in power believe that it will serve their ends. For example, Feminism serves the best interest of the establishment by getting women out of the home and into the workforce. "Anti-racism" serves the Establishment's ends by promoting racial "harmony" so that their business interests won't be damaged by things such as riots. As for sexuality, sex sells. Those in power learned long ago that tranny LARPing and gay marriage doesn't really threaten their power. You get the idea.

However, there's another, more insidious aspect about the "wokening" of the Establishment. Not only does the Woke Left serve the Establishment by pushing it's agenda for it, but it also detracts from issues that would threaten corporate power such as class and wealth concentration. It gives the Far Left - or at least those that think that they are - an avenue to vent their frustration without really threatening the people that they claim to oppose. Should you bring up this irony, you'll be shouted down as a "class reductionist," and so the sham continues.

I'd like to see everyone's thoughts on this.

This is what jewish control looks like. Even in Israel, their apartheid state with supreme military might and unending and infinite support from the most powerful country in the world.

They're the perpetual victims, everyone is victimising them.

Taking this same strategy to mobilise people against their own interest is just an extension of that.

Like people mention women in the workplace as a kind of economic value, but the primary value gained isn't their labor, it's getting control over population growth.
