Is There A Way To Get Old Skype Messages? -

I know this is werid to ask but I need help getting my old skype messages.

I use discord and have for a long time but I went back on skype and they did a new update that wiped all my messages even though I had it set to forever.

Many of which are from long dead relatives that I used to talk to and miss very dearly.

I tried everywhere else but no one responds and I figure someone here can at least tell me on a scale from 1-10 how fucked I am or maybe tell me how to get the messages that are gone now.
