Yeah it's probably not a good idea to limit legislative terms. It would also be damn near impossible due to needing an amendment to do so, and you just know that it would have to be done via the state convention route, as I don't see Congress making any moves to limit themselves any time soon...or ever for that matter.Career bureaucrats and lobbyists are more dangerous than legislators, as they are the driving force behind 'sensible, common sense, bipartisan, 10,000-page omnibus' bills and regulatory loopholes.
Term limits for judges and banning ivy leaguers from sitting on the federal judiciary, those are some treacherous waters.
