Didn't yahoo recently sell the site for a fraction of what they bought it for?
Yep they did which isn’t surprising.

It feels dead on my side. A lot of smaller bloggers kinda just ditched it, especially folk who posted stuff which eventually got them banned or their account hidden from results.
Some moved to the assortment of tumblr clones that popped up after the ban like soup.io and 2mblr, but a lot of those actually died off due to lack of interest.
The staff might as well be dead considering how lazy they are.
Agreed, Tumblr is what you make of it. If you get a ton of faggot SJW shit in your feed, that's on youI still see like 50+ posts a day from the five or so nature photography blogs I follow. Tumblr is still pretty widely used for art and photography sharing by anyone who doesn't make lewd content.
Also there's still a shit load of very active wacko communities on there but I usually ignore them. It may be less popular than it used to be, but it's not going to die naturally. The community is too invested and there's no real competition in the microblogging sphere that offers the features tumblr does (when they work, at least).
Yeah, the SJW lolcows seem to have relocated to Twitter.I don't really care what happens to Tumblr. It's not like the people who made Tumblr a laughingstock have vanished, they've just relocated to pollute other platforms.
