Kiwifarms and other "problematic sites" are more likely to go down than Tumblr, solely because said sites aren't willing to kowtow to federally-affiliated busybodies. If you aren't willing to sink as low as Tumblr did you are deemed a problem, and as we've seen with 8chan, it's not hard to contrive some reason to stoke outrage and wall off a site at the provider level.
I don't think so, I mean, Cloudflare is pretty NEAT and ED even has it so I wouldn't see a reason as to why Cloudflare would all of a sudden just buttfuck both sites
It only took a few mass shootings and misplaced manifestos to get 8chan shut down. Kiwifarms likely wouldn't endure much more, especially if there were meddling politicians advocating for its closure (and it's not like this place has a great reputation among normalfags already.)

The worst thing about the Twitter migration a lot of Tumblr artists did was that Twitter encourages off-topic / non art posting on main, whereas on Tumblr the artists tended to have art blogs and then a personal blog that they'd repost and make nonart posts to. I didn't bother following a lot of artists to Twitter because of that - I don't care about your politics or what pizza you like, I'm just here for your pictures you draw buddy.
True, but 8chan was a dead man walking even before the mass shootings and manifestos thanks to Dan Olson's gay ops during GamerGate and Fredrick Brennan falling asleep at the wheel when it came to clamping down on illegal material (assuming he isn't just a closet nonce) and there's the fact that 8chan owes its entire existence to GamerGate, which is still used as a boogeyman/super-villain origin story for the Alt-Right by woke journalists every now and then.
Kiwi Farms may have a bad rep among Reddit and the normies, but we're not really tied into any major mass shootings in the same way that 8chan was. Closest things we had to a scandal like that were Couch Cuck (who was a nobody on the Farms) and Null telling the New Zealand police to fuck off when they tried to spy on forum members.
Unless some /pol/ tard goes for the high score and posts their manifesto on here before doing so, I think we're fine.
As for Tumblr, I wouldn't call them dead just yet but they are definitely in decline and are likely a dead man walking.

It has lost some activity yes, but it's still far from dead with the people posting about every minute detail of their lives no one cares about, shilling their patron or gofundme and trannies REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEposting and having slapfights with other autists over which fictional character/fandom is the best. Oh and the porn is still there, just untagged.
It's making more money than it ever made under Verizon/Yahoo. Tumblr will be fine. They're hiring.
Both Instagram, Twitter, and likely many more platforms have "Share to tumblr?" options when you post anything. It's honestly a miracle they aren't any more popular than they should be. They got the name and the networking; not everyone lives and breathes pornography.

Is tik tok still a thing? it flooded the internet for a couple of months but after that I only ever hear about it from people complaining how cringe tik tok is.
Tumblr had the reputation of being filled with killjoys that would attack you for the stupidest things, most people didn't want to deal with that. Also before the porn ban I saw people claiming it would unfairly target the LGBT and that pretty much any picture of a woman not in a burka will get flagged. I don't know if anyone actually left because of this but tumblr did seem to have a large amount of LGBT folk/allies and feminists.
The porn ban didn't even do anything except cause a bunch of artists to leave. Last time I went on tumblr (a few months ago I think) there were porn gifs all over the place.
Can they hire better staff? I didn't even use tumblr for porn and I was appalled by the laziness of the porn ban/filter.
I dare say the porn ban have even strengthened some of the more puritan communities on the website.

what kills me more is when they don't use it in the right context or know the actual definition of the term.
Normalfags are crabs in a bucket who can't stand the reality that they can't be like that 'cool kid' , or usually they were somewhat acquainted in that desired circle but the group doesn't put him in equal grounds or make fun of his ADHD when they see it. The internet is a perfect place to give an escapist fantasy for the normalfag. For example, anitubers will make fun of the fat neckbeard otaku stereotype, insult waifuism and other activities that are deemed 'too obsessive', and buy a waifu pillow for a one-off joke in the tone of """"""irony""""". Not only does it ruin the community they're in by encouraging apathy and complacency, but it also does no favor for the nEet-celeb personally as they will never be taken seriously by others.

Aside from people there to shitpost, I'm genuinely surprised to see anyone still using it for things like art. I checked in on an ask blog one of the weirder artists I know about has for a character of theirs and was surprised to see it still thriving somewhat. I thought in-character ask blogs died out on Tumblr even before the porn ban happened.
I think Tumblr will die off pretty soon tbh with it's revenue and relevance going down also with no one wanting to buy it it'll die but if it does the rest if those fuckers will just migrate to Twitter and officially make it the new Tumblr
From what I've seen it's not dead yet but I wouldn't really give more than ~3 years before the site bites the dust. I just checked Tumblrs trending page and the most popular posts there get around 3k notes or less. There were some that got more than 20k notes but they were few and far between. At the sites peak there were a lot more posts that broke trough 20k notes.
There's way less activity compared to two years ago. Many people have been banned, deactivated, or simply left due to the purge or personal matters. It just feels irrelevant and like a chore at this point.
I don't use it nearly as much as I used to. A lot of posters I followed just left and migrated to Twitter.
