I have recently remade the issue 15 cover, itself a trans remake of the original issue 0, which led me to redesign the logo. I didn't really love the first option so I ended up making 5 more. And I'd like to settle with the one that appeals the most to you guys. Would you care to elect your favorite option here in this thread?

Also, if anyone has remade Sonichu's logo over the past years, I'd love to see what you came up with!

I first thought that you mean logos in the religious sense and was expecting philosophical lecture on how Sonichu controls the world around us, but thankfully this isn't the case. They look great.

My only complaint is Chris' double chin isn't as evident as it could be. One could mistake him for not being horribly out of shape, and simply just a bit frumpy. Otherwise, very well done.

I know, but I had to be a little more flattering, hahaha. Like in the way cartoon-versions of real people can be.

When I do this kind of thing I like to marry the original art, my style and Christine's intent. So it's less about making something realistic and more about making the best version of it that I can currently produce with whatever drawing and painting skills that currently I have... but according to how CWC view's her own opus. Which, I suppose, is what I have been doing since 2009.

The shift to a more anime-esque style during the Megan Saga brought about a new degree of commitment to "style" and "anatomy" but within the same range of skills. And that's so strange. I know autistic people, the really autistic kind, that have to make a lot of daily effort to perceive reality and engage with things in a socially acceptable manner. And they too improve at things they spend the best part of 30 years doing. I'm really not sure what is in Christine's way or if there's any sort of diagnosis for this much delusion and lack of perception, but it might not be just autism.

This is one of the best "after Chandler" homage pieces I've seen. A lot of the CWC fan art posted here is highly autistic but these are pleasant, true to the original work and make good use of color.

The troon Chris piece is even better than the classic Chris cover. If you do more re-imagined Chris art you should definitely post it here.

I spent a good deal of time out of the loop so I'm only vaguely aware of the whole dimensional merge thing. And to be honest it is shocking to me. It probably shouldn't be. But it is.

Chris has always been in denial about reality, but as a high schooler or university student it was more or less in the same way of how other autistic people I know are sometimes unable to see things in the same light of others. One of them had hoarder parents just like Chris and just didn't comprehend the difference between their house and other peoples houses. There are windows, doors, a ceiling and furniture and that's all their brains need to process. They put a lot of focus and stress on things that don't actually matter, they completely ignore some major facts of life and are somewhat unable to comprehend things from a perspective that isn't theirs. Which leads to surreal instances like not realizing they are stalkers, oversharing absurd things, bringing a meat pie to a vegan dinner party and acting like small details in the Sonic The Hedgehog franchise are matters of life and death.

Some people even see trans-Chris as yet another symptom of all this. And I honestly don't dispute or acknowledge that. For all I know this was already foreshadowed a looong time before the absolute insanity settled in. And, for all I know, this could be just hyperbolic behavior of someone who swears that a female-like presentation will appeal to both straight and lesbian women, thus broadening the chances of getting laid. Which would be both a TERF boogeyman come to life and a very illegitimate reason to adopt a transfeminine identity.

I don't know much about the Idea Guy (Guys?) or how they caught Chris in a situation SO vulnerable that we are now dealing with an even more surreal version of what we had before. But the fact remains that there was a progression, a descent into more madness, enough for me to be genuinely surprised with how a vaguely functional adult man who just might survive with his limited income (if someone with responsability managed his finances for him) is now a ruined trans woman locked away in her own fantasy. How someone who was considered crazy for wanting his Sonic recolors to be a major multimedia hit is now effectively crazy for not needing them to be a multimedia hit because they are real people who talk to her and have ghost-sex with her.

I was out of the CWCkiverse after the tomgirl saga and Bob's death. But I think I'll stick around now because, unfortunatelly, it's hard to look away from a train wreck. And part of me genuinely wants some family member or something to step in and put an end to this madness.

Yes I am! I think I'll be remaking more covers of Sonichu Issues. They are a lot of fun to reimagine. And it's a way to practice a little bit of digital painting that entertains me and, apparently, others too.

Some say it's because I'm a piece of shit who gets a self-esteem boost by proving he can make better art than a mentally challenged individual.
Some say it's because after investing so many years in this fandom I, like a few other people, ended up warming up to Christine and now I unironically enjoy making something she might end up seeing and liking. Like when she just uploaded a piece of art that I made as the header of her Patreon page. Without crediting me.

I say: It's fun to reimagine things without commitment to some major personal project I don't have time for. And I end up practicing drawing and painting on Photoshop, which I'm very rusty at.
