Because we can talk about jamband music that is non-grateful dead.

I'm sure most kiwis hate phish, but they should give phish a chance because phish is one of the greatest live bands ever. From here on out once every week I will post a link to a crunchy phish jam, sometimes known classics, sometimes obscure jams that stand out to me.

This week I'll start us off with a true classic, the 11/17/97 Ghost. Every phan knows this jam as it is a standout from one of the bands best tours ever, fall 1997, a tour that alone has many other all timers in it.

Enjoy some musical autism.

So I haven't gotten around to posting in this thread for a few weeks, so here are two jams instead of 1. I am having trouble embedding youtube's on my phone since the xf2 update, so sorry for just pasting the links this time round.

The 12/31/93 hood. Not much I can say about this hasn't already been said, but every single note is perfect. An emotive, soulful, gorgeous jam that leads to a fiery yet blissful peak. Amazing music. - https://youtu.be/7z15ORtarX4

And this, my personal favorite ever version of Mike's Song, from just the night. before, on 12/30/93. Such an absolutely incredible run of shows and year as a whole. 1993 phish is the tits, just a badass, dick swinging jedi guitar led live rock band - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=C-Uunyz5Tsw
