Sustained Denial of Service attacks. Paid for botnet. Service will continue to be disrupted until I can contact other providers and arrange a fix. Sister services to the forum will have longer downtime. There's still ongoing service-level attacks which are causing intermittent errors and general slowness.
Jacob Lenard/Lenstar is a mildly popular YouTube animator. You might know him as that guy who made those wacky SpongeBob SFM videos from the early 2010's:
You may also know him as the creator of such Flash animations as Mugman, Plancy's World, Pike's Lagoon, and most recently Loose Ends.
Evidence has very recently surfaced that he holds transphobic beliefs, which, unsurprisingly, pissed off quite a few SJWs on Twitter:
This would be iffy enough on its own, but when people started hounding him about it, rather than apologizing or even just owning up to it he got one of his friends to take the heat on his behalf:
That went over as well as you think, and eventually he did acknowledge what he said, which would be fine and dandy... if it weren't for the fact he straight-up admitted via DMs he only did it to save face (and of course he tries to blame it on his autism, like many other aspie cows):
This would eventually culminate in former colleague Jack C./MadJackRabbit/cartoonlover98 shedding some more light on even more deplorable behavior, including bullying one of the Mugman VA's to near-suicide:
Yikes...
He's displayed some mild traits of a lolcow in the past (mainly by being a whiny bitch towards people who wanted more SpongeBob animations and repeatedly dumping series for being "unsatisfied" with them, which almost always happened when they really picked up in popularity), but it's probably safe to say that his career, or what little he had of one, is probably not going to survive through this backlash, and we may want to be on the watch to see how and if he ends up digging himself deeper.
