The ending of the last season just seemed too optimistic when they pretended like jazz was just going to go to college. too optimistic that jazz would be able to fit in. too optimistic that would even pass any of the classes. too optmistic that even if jazz had people cheat for jazz that jazz could even be a lawyer with a faked education. and that was right before corona virus.

I mean he kinda isn't tho, I have seen some cishet women with PCOS looking like line backers, chest hair and all, but I assume he is probably talking about those women out there that just kinda don't care too much how they look or dress....is it a girl? Is it a angry 14 year old boy? The world may never know.
He has this broken image of "what a woman should be" and he is fighting tooth and nail to achieve it, but as soon as he thinks he attains it and he's not happy then he has to redefine it.

I think he just realised nobody cares about him and now he's not "odd looking", nobody pays attention to him. This kid's so desperate for approval and being noticed that he doesn't even care about negative attention. If he doesn't solve his issues soon, he's a big candidate to 41% himself soon.
On some tiny level, I feel for Noelle in that I know how awful isolation and loneliness can be on a person. Everyone craves attention and approval and it's sad to see someone being ignored by the rest of the world to the point where it emotionally cripples them.
That said, Noelle also isolates himself by being unpleasant, narcissistic, and completely foolish when it comes to the real world or people. He would likely reject a lot of potential friends out of A.) Physical jealousy, B.) His stupid politics, or C.) His inability to empathize with anyone other than himself. Jazz at least demonstrates some level of compassion and empathy for others, even if it's in his own stunted, childish way. Noelle just seems to be a very negative, very insecure person with a lot of room for improvement but can't figure out that giving is better than taking. It's really depressing to think about, especially now that he's more isolated than ever and, unlike Jazz who has nepotism and media publicity, he'll likely be pushed farther and farther away from the rest of the world.

The only thing going on here is that on some level Noelle’s brain is desperately trying to protect him from reality. And the reality is that he was a healthy, attractive young man who got caught up in a modern hysteria and mutilated his genitals and he will never, ever “pass.” But this is unbearable. And so, his dysmorphic delusion regarding what a woman even looks like is extending to the rest of the world.
In other words:

I realize that nearly every thread on transsexuals is full of “he’s gonna 41% himself” comments but I fear this guy really is going to destroy himself sooner rather than later.
The show had to end on a positive note I guess - ultimately, this was supposed to be the journey of a child who was completely normal except that he was "born in the wrong body", but today's medical technology could fix all that. That Jazz now as a consequence of said medical intervention has a lower IQ than his peers, a non-existent sex drive and a crotch that keeps falling apart isn't a nice heart-warming story.
Yeah saying stuff like that makes me think there won't be another season. Also people saying Jazz is doing bad right now and that sends a bad message or something about Trans people. The ending of the last season felt let a series final as I was watching it but I wasn't sure if it was cancelled or not for sure. I can't find any information saying its been cancelled or renewed.
I don't think they should cancel the show just because Jazz is going through a rough patch right now. I would be very interested to see where it goes if there is another season.
I believe it was confirmed somewhere that last season was the "final" series of "I Am Jazz". Hence why this thread moved.

Iirc there was the quack who did hypnotherapy or past life analysis or something or other. You know, the tragic episode when Jazz claimed that in a past life he was a gay man who just wanted to be himself but was rejected by his family and he started crying. Idk how anyone can watch that episode and not immediately get what’s up.
Also afaik Jazz has stated on the show that he doesn’t want to go to a therapist because he already knows himself or something like that, something very teenaged male sounding lol

Jazz being a mess isn't an impediment for them to keep going with the show. btw. They keep going even after his vagina actually exploded, why would they stop now when his life has no meaning? A lot of editing here and there and it looks like Jazz's going through the normal tribulations of a teenager... despite he's 20.

Holy shit Jeanette is such a monster. Imagine letting your kid get Mengele'd and then acting so smug and surprised that they have issues. It's actually hard to watch how badly Jeanette stokes the flames for Jazz to melt down in this video even after Jazz has calmed herself. Notice also, how Jeanette wants Jazz to go to therapy clearly because Jeanette is not happy with Jazz's behavior and wants someone to fix it up for her (like how Dr. Jesting "fixed up" her gay son for her with SRS). You can see it in Jazz's reaction, she's so frustrated like "you made me into this, why are you acting like you have no idea why I develop issues." Jazz is probably sick of professionals telling her who she is and how she thinks, and is terrified by the idea that she might realize certain things about herself and her mother through therapy.
