I don't disagree with your premise, but I also believe that being used as "one giant product" is what's currently keeping him alive and somewhat active. He has nothing else. Literally. Being a product is his life. He doesn't have an identity apart from being a pediatric transitioner. He doesn't have any friends outside of the gender bubble (and it seems like the few he had have also drifted away). Take that away and he has nothing.

I’d agree with this, if he was a ‘talented’ performer like Britney, where keeping a working routine was a healthy thing for her. But this kid has no talent, he’s just a sad, mangled, mentally ill person being exploited by his family (Sanders the creep is making it way worse) on tv and SM. Nobody in their right mind would think anything about this is healthy, even if they package it as a weight loss journey or fat acceptance bs.

It's not healthy, I just think it's the lesser of two evils at this point. Without the "influencer" label he's just a clinically depressed, obese, mutilated, cognitively and emotionally stunted boy with no prospects. He doesn't have the life skills to make it on his own. You often see deathfats on My 600 lb Life getting worse at an alarming rate when they move away from home and become completely responsible for their own eating patterns.

What could Jazz conceivably do to extricate himself from this role as long as he's living under Jeannette's roof?

Pretty positive that Jazz got fat because his child brain tells him to just eat and eat to cope, though. They show some of his binges on the show and there’s one where he’s eating a jar of Nutella and pretzels in the car immediately after going to Publix, for example.

I don't think it's necessarily a child-brain thing. I think he just lives in a world where he is stressed, isolated, and under constant pressure with a famous/social media family where he has no privacy or any real choice in his life. He eats because it's comforting, but it could just as easily be drugs or alcohol if he actually had friends who weren't clout leeches.

Jazz might be a brat but I feel for him. While it is hard being the unfavorite of a narcissistic parent, it is arguably worse to be the favorite.
