1. Jason and Kabier are practically invulnerable on FA as is considering how they both have 63,957 and 53,451 FA watchers respectively
2. isn't this like not the first time they tried something like this? I could be thinking of another furry lolcow, but this is definitely not the first time Kabier had advertised an entirely different platform for posting art.

I see Kabier and Jasonafex are getting into exploiting lesser known and smaller artists to make money.
This is likely in response to FA cracking down on "altfurries". Jasonafex and Kabiar both have played around with leaving Twitter in the past when Twitter amended it's policy to prevent harassment of trannies by deadnaming and misgendering them, and were active on Mastodon due to it's laxer policies for a time.
I'd love to see what kind of shit show site they'd create. With how well every other alternative to FA has "succeeded", it might be a fantastic dumpsterfire.

If they're hoping that their site is going to make it big, they're sorely mistaken. I'm going to assume they'll want more "free speech" on their platform, but most furries do not like the concept of actual free speech. As soon as they see people start making fun of trannies or drawing nazifurs, they'll flee the site. There will be many big-name artists who will avoid the site simply because of its reputation. If they're making the site to have aplace to enjoy themselves in the way they want to, good on them. If they're thinking it's going to be actual competition for sites like FurAffinity, they're delusional.

Well there's an easy way to check. If you can call Jason a child groomer and not get banned.
Won't ever happen. Projects like this are announced and then never get off the ground. They might get some kind of alpha or demonstration mock up but that's all. It's not even necessarily the setup part that's too hard. Furries are so disorganized and selfish that nobody within the project staff can agree on requirements and keep staff on track. When work gets hard or boring, volunteers leave the project. It's not like a full time job that pays someone's rent and benefits. It's side work at best, and it's not worth dealing with a bad boss like Jason for whatever pittance he wants to pay people. Competent coders can take their skills literally anywhere else and not deal with furry trash. The only people that are left are either shitty, dumb, or friends that read Stack Exchange for an hour.
