I don't advise basing one's relationship with their parents overall on some posts online. Abusers rarely paint their abuse online, and abuse victims do not post their grievances online when other family could see it. I say that because Kate may talk shit about her parents on podcasts or whatever, but I don't think she would do that on platforms like Facebook where accused abusers and friends are likely to see it. That could make relationships worse. That's not to say that Kate is telling the truth on the matter (I am inclined to believe she is, as I believe I recall her mother being verbally abusive much like Kaitlyn herself was toward their roommate at the time. Abusers/toxic people are not constantly abusive. There are periods of peace (which most other people see), and those are what breed this odd, dysfunctional relationship between people, even between parents and child.

I think everybody here is of that view, even if they don't care to admit it. I've mentioned countless times the talent and passion she had prior to all this.

I used to be a fan of Kate's work, so part of me wishes to see her escape and succeed. The more that comes out however makes me think more that she can go fuck herself.
