Of all the people to get caught on the show, I go back and watch Jeffrey Stacy time and time again. He's definite dork-of-ages material and he cracks me up. He looks like shit, sounds like helium, and has the reasoning of a little kid who got caught stealing something with the way he tries to get out of trouble. This is a 5-part uncut raw video which shows the process from him showing up at the house to being booked and put in jail. It's hilarious because you can tell he can't process that he's really going to jail and not getting out of it somehow until they tell him straight out. Oh and the part where he makes an attempt to stab himself in the neck with a pen afterward is pretty lol too. Since this was back in '05 I'm pretty sure he's out now, his most recent mugshot look like he's not in prison garb and almost smiling I think.

My favorite To Catch A Predator pedophile is Donald. I don't remember his last name. He was some 40 year old fat guy with glasses. I just hope you're not of the mind that anyone who has a problem with the show is defending the pedos. People defending pedoforks is pretty rotten and there's no excuse for that. Those dudes all came to those houses looking to fuck a kid, and they all need to be in prison. Period.

That said, there were a lot of morally questionable issues with that show. The media shouldn't be getting into the law enforcement business, nor should they be creating news to report. (NBC did both the second they started paying the organization responsible for baiting the pedos to the house.)

i'll admit that it's debatable, but It's also a very slippery slope and that's one of the reasons why the show got cancelled despite ridiculously high ratings. I am in no way defending pedos. I'm just saying that the show could have been handled better.

Also, it's pretty funny if you just listen to those videos and imagine Winnie the Pooh sitting in the hot seat.

Oops, Mcdonalds, and computer all got in trouble for this shit more than once. Oops and mcdonalds were caught twice by to catch a predator, but only mcdonalds guy has the disctinction of not only showing up naked the first time around but getting caught all over again in less than 24 hours.

I think oops was a slow in the mind though.

My favorite on that show was the Rabbi Kaye. That dude freaked out as soon as the camera's came out and then you could almost hear his brain grind to a halt and mentally crap itself.

Afterwards, he offered an interview but only if the footage was erased and he wasn't prosecuted. Failing that, he threatened to sue I think. In the end he got a bit over 6 years in the pen with 10 years supervision after that with all the standard dismissal from the church and no unsupervised access to anyone under 18.

Mentally handicapped people are always hard to watch get in trouble. They generally don't get the plea bargains that most people might. They often obliterate their own defense almost immediately because they don't really understand what self-incrimintation is.

I was put on the same drug he was, Cymbalta, because PTSD, long-ass story there, and chronic pain issues. It did jack and shit for the latter, was probably an expensive placebo for the former, and had the most god-fucking-awful discontinuation syndrome I have ever dealt with.)

Dude, you have to cooperate with therapy. The meds aren't magic, and as much as we throw around the metaphor of brain "wiring," it doesn't work that way. Like, Nick Bate failed to mention that he does know why he's not allowed around his half-sister, and this guy obviously glossed right over some serious impulse-control (and therefore, lack-of-research) problems. Even ECT is an incredibly crude tool, not a case of "rewiring" as an electrician would do.
