The thing is, I doubt he even knows how to make a fist, probably would clench his thumb in and damage it throwing a lopsided punch. His excuse "he did it by surprise therefore I COULDNT DO ANYTHING" like a typical dsp excuse. In every possible way he comes off as a bitch or an idiot while the troon comes off as just a sneaky dick and at best a coward.

I listened to Jeremy trying to explain that, and all I could take away from his version was that Hasbro would rather not highlight new products through someone who acts kind of like Sargon, so Jeremy escalated the situation into a lifetime ban. Was there anything more to Hasbro's side of this than a marketing disagreement?

I only started paying attention after the cosplayer drama was in full swing, but the impression I had at the time is that he didn't need Hasbro's help to sperg at that woman. He did some throwaway video mocking her and a couple tweets, which doesn't look like he was intentionally escalating. Hambly intentionally escalating makes five videos a day for a week and hundreds of tweets.

He had been wanting some version of "MagicGate" for a while, I remember years before he was creeping on cosplayers he was trying to get KiA to be his personal army after some incident with WotC resulted in him not getting promotional material or something, and he tried to spin it as a mighty jihad against "SJWs in MtG!". Surprisingly, they didn't take for it, so it went nowhere. But he had been angling for his own ___gate for years before I was really familiar with his material, this was like late 2015 iirc.
I think he retweets a comment made about Planeswalkers not using bathrooms. "They piss in the aether." This was during the transgender bathrooms debacle.

Not the least bit surprised, he seems to reach for a personal army over basically any inconvenience in life. 'WotC bans people for trolling a cosplayer" is worth calling public attention to, as is "troon jumps people in bars for their opinions" and "Gencon bans people who get jumped in bars if they're unpopular". But he tries to summon the autism army over his steak being overcooked, too, and that's just annoying.

Frankly, had he kept his mouth shut about the Kumite people, he likely could have kept doing it. My own blinding rage and uncontrollable 'tism aside, he really did exceed my expectations and solidify himself in that sphere and have a solid base of attack tards to send out. Even the rest of the Kumite guys let him buddy up and be unfunny all over their streams, and he just decided to start lashing out at them for no reason.
The fucking guy literally got everything he wanted all this time, and is going to get it slapped out of his mouth because of some inexplicably beef and bizarre compulsion to keep bringing it up.
