What was always funny was when you got one of these supposed Based Conservative Geniuses up against an actual academic or pundit with actual political or PR training, they have a meltdown. And it didn't matter what side of the spectrum their "opponent" was on.

You had Kristi Winters, a full blown SJW, but one with actual degrees in politics and social issues, completely wipe the floor with Sargon, who couldn't stop sputtering about "muh man hatred" "muh mean blue haired youtube feminists" while Winters brought up actual fucked up laws and statistics. Sargon tried shouting over her about absolutely nothing to the point where he had to have his mic muted and even his own fanboys thought he looked like a total moron.

Then on the opposite end you had Ben Shapiro and Andrew Neill. Andrew Neill literally believes being gay is an illness, denies climate change, backs Brexit, and supported the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. He's had every stereotypical conservative opinion. The two of them were not even supposed to be having a debate, and yet Shapiro had a complete meltdown because Neil pointed out a couple inconsistencies in Shapiro's rhetoric, like naming his book "The right side of history" despite claiming that the phrase is only used by idiots. Shapiro couldn't even handle an INTERVIEW about his own book, with someone whose political ideology completely matches his own, because he was talking to someone who has worked in the political commentary and journalism fields for literal decades and has facts and figures in front of them. And afterwards, Shapiro said he "was unprepared for the debate." It wasn't a debate, you schmuck. He was interviewing you about your book and its title.

All Ben would have had to have done is say "Yeah, my position has changed on that phrase, I now think it has merit. And also I said some stupid hyperbolic stuff on twitter a couple of times" and it would have proceeded as an easy fluff piece. But he is practically allergic to admitting any sort of fallibility so he had a meltdown instead.

Unfortunately, it has skewed the entire idea of what a debate actually is or is supposed to function. There are people whose opinions I will never fucking agree with who would probably wipe the floor with me in a debate, especially a "debate" where they have podium and all I have is a notebook. Pretty much any point imaginable can be argued convincingly on at least a temporary basis. That's how we get brainwashing and cults and dictatorships. And people believing that, say, fucking Trigglypuff is priority/threat in 2021.

Snyder also adapted a book by a hardcore Anarchist with aggressively Leftist themes. The dude is actually kind of an amazing focal point for this political culture war idiocy from both sides tbh.

I don’t hate Zack Snyder, in fact I’ve found most of his movies to be relatively interesting, and I give him credit for trying to do with DC in 7 hours what the MCU did in 15 movies. However, I have serious problems with him adapting The Fountainhead, for the same reason I’d have serious problems with Michael Bay doing Atlas Shrugged, or Kevin Smith remaking Sophie’s Choice. I have no idea how his style would work in a movie that wasn’t filled with bombastic action.

According to the video, Jeremy was going to ask Ethan about all the racist jokes he made - because suddenly now he has invested concern in the matter whilst ignoring others who have done the same. In reality though, this was just Jeremy's attempt to inject himself into a beef that actually gained traction outside of the niche sphere while also earning brownie points with Crowder. Unfortunately for him, it did not work out that way and all he has to show for it are annoyed viewers who wish him to drop it already.

After finishing the video, I find it amusing how Jeremy is fine with going after another YouTuber in this instance but just two weeks ago frowned upon ReviewTechUSA doing it to him. Hell, there was a previous incident where Rich simply said in a stream that he no longer enjoys Jeremy's content and that was enough to incite a bigger response. Jer doesn't operate on any consistencies and allows himself to do things he immediately scrutinizes others for doing. A good example was that time he condemned the usage of leaked DMs in beefs without permission but proceeded to do just that with during his spat with Angry Joe only to delete it after he was called out for the hypocrisy.

Going further, he is more than willing to let friends like Tim Pool go under the radar until they no longer let him sit at their table, then he goes out of his way to target them. We even saw it with Asmongold last year, only in that situation the two seemingly reconciled and Jer went back and edited a video's title and thumbnail that heavily used Zack as clickbait. And if this is how he treats people online, I think this is a pretty good indicator why he seemingly has no IRL friends to speak of outside of the dart league who probably only brought him in out of pity.
