As to where Lily gets her writing advice from; herself. She bases it on what works for her, how she thinks, and what she likes.
She admitted to doing poorly in English class during school. It’s obvious she hasn’t taken writing courses outside of that. She doesn’t really consume much media either. She’s an utterly fascinating case of how not to learn how to write.

Speaking of Mikaila, what has she even been doing lately? Madhouse hasn't had a real update in over a month and it doesn't seem like she's been posting much new art, she hasn't even done much writing the past two months, outside of one or two WoW shorts.
I guess you could chalk up the lack of Madhouse updates to Lily finally getting burnt out on it, Mikaila probably stopped caring about it a long time ago and was only doing it to make Lily happy. The same could be said for The Sith Resurgence with Lily (and by extension Mikaila) finally getting bored with Star Wars. Now it seems that their waifu of the season being Sylvanas, and even they're starting to show the early signs of starting to get tired of her too, but it's not like ̶t̶h̶e̶y̶ Lily really has anything else she's super into, so they'll probably stick with WoW for a while until some other form of media piques ̶t̶h̶e̶i̶r̶ Lily's interest.
...Man, it's been said before, but Mikaila really does seem like Lily's own personal lap-dog. I know people are memeing about the inevitable divorce, but I don't see it happening anytime soon. Based on what I've seen, Mikaila just...goes with whatever Lily does too much for their to be a potential break in their relationship, she just seems to complacent in following Lily's beck & call. Now, I don't know what goes on behind closed doors, maybe there's actually some resentment being built up and it could all come to a head after sometime living together.
Anyways, speaking of being at someone's beck & call, has there been any status updates on those new puppets? It's been roughly a month or so since Lily lost her old ones and I'm surprised it's taken this long for Mikalia to get done with them, considering Lily's the one asking for them and all. Maybe she's making Mikalia take her time so they come out at a bit higher quality then what Mikalia's art is normally known for. Though I feel in that amount of time a semi-competent artist could emulate Lizzy's puppets almost perfectly just by going to one of Lily's old video's and just copying her artwork. Yeah, it's technically tracing, which is looked down upon by most people, but when has Lily ever cared about what the art community thinks?

honestly i think asking mikaila to trace the art that came from her wife's abuser would not be a good idea. would be a pretty big hole on that whole "lizzy abused me and gave me ptsd" story

Anyone else I'd think/hope this is a moment of self-reflection. But no, with Lily it's always about how everyone else is wrong. Can't possibly be her, especially when this is a common thread with multiple people.
EDIT: She already removed that post, possibly because she realized it said more about her/sounded like it was self-reflection and she can't have that now.
Also, she pretty much explicitly said as much that this was true before, in that she said Anevay's first time was to Amani trolls that held her captive. I mean, it's definitely better to not do that, especially for someone who is supposedly a rape survivor. But just more history rewriting/lying when it's perfectly fine to just say "That's how it used to be but I decided to rewrite that."
I did not mean to be like an armchair diagnosis. I just looked at Lily's behaviour over the years and connected it to common traits of sociopaths and psychopaths. Or in simple words, I saw that Lily seems to have similar behavior to sociopathic traits. Just search up her history and then search up sociopathic traits and you'll see what I mean.

This is a much better explanation of what I was trying to get at. Lily absolutely cannot divorce herself from emotional analysis and think critically. Thinking critically does not mean acknowledging every single little fault something has, or embellishing or arguing it in bad faith - it means thinking CRITICALLY. You cannot claim an author intended offense when there's no evidence for that and still claim to be arguing objectively and critically, it just doesn't work. It's why critics like Mauler and Lily are getting pushback nowadays and why critics like E;R (as much as I disagree with a lot of his points on media like SU) don't, because at least he's not claiming to be some superior critic and you can mostly shrug his content off as banter for the most part.
It's all hypocrisy and it's poisonous to good, honest discussion.
