I'm working on a source at the moment that can back up the fact that she has, at the very least, done multiple daki commissions for members of r/waifuism, but I do know of one of these clients who was, shall we say, extremely dissatisfied with the quality of artwork they received. I go out of my way not to engage with these people any more but I have to say it's tempting to go down there and tell the waifuists to absolutely never commission her. You're wasting your money trying to get a fuck pillow as is, don't double waste it and ask her for it.

Side note, I'm surprised this didn't make the thread yet:

Her descriptions of how her protagonist is basically herself but not really mirrors her thought process she outlined in the YouTube video about how she made her Octavio-knockoff by making the same thing slightly differently. The differences she lists are pretty arbitrary, it really does appear that her process, whether she wants to admit it or not, is that she took a bunch of qualities about herself and slightly adjusted them in the hope that nobody would notice.

Her whole description is why the book in concept falls apart. "It's not actually about video games, BUT it's inspired by them." "It has tentacle sex, BUT it's not porn." Like holy shit she's never going to get the cover right at this point.

I skimmed through them back when this thread was just a little prospering DM group, and they are so... horrible. Not in a poorly written way, you can see that in the SC from @Fake-n-Gay's post above. It's just so unabashedly a self-insert book written for her own tastes. This applies to Canon Call of Cthulu too.

You hit the nail on the head right there, and one of the comments did too. The first chapter is just too important to ThE pLoT to be moved, apparently. I've read like, 4 chapters and all I can gather from it is that it sets up that her character likes tentacles. Also, as if she knows anything about pacing, one thing that stuck out to me when I read it at the time is that she's terrible at establishing location and just jumps from one place to another which breaks all the pacing, but that's a critique for another time.

"Readers love the book." really screams someone who is in denial of criticism at this point. But it's the same old shit.

The saga of the refunded reader:

The idea that she paid someone to read her book without actually telling them what the book was is just sad. Why she neglected to give the paid reader a warning I'll never know.
Also "professional-grade with actual substance to it" is 7 words that do not describe her book in any capacity.
But it's ok that her book has a horrible first chapter that completely kills all momentum because it "weeds out the people who wouldn't like it." That is not the job of the first chapter. You're supposed to weed out people with the cover and the blurb and the shit people see BEFORE they buy it.

I'm convinced she's just completely in denial of the situation and she's only asking for advice on reddit so much in a last-ditch attempt to get attention and publicity on a book that she isn't going to change.

I just finished reading her ‘sexy end boss’ or whatever book based on this comment and it’s crazy how true this is. It’s such an obvious self insert to the point that you can tell you’re learning things about her you did not want to know.

The highlights for me were the descriptions of her tantrums (and she seems to think it’s normal??), the constant descriptions of her waifu pillow fantasies and the weird focus on an ‘over active inksack’ which is clearly related to her but I don’t want to know how.

I don’t understand what her audience is here?? It’s constantly and randomly smutty, but the ‘smut’ is so weird and castrated that it wouldn’t appeal to anybody looking for that. It takes place in a video game but features a 35 year old woman. She says ‘octo-pussy’ 500 times, but it’s actually a relief because before that she used ‘cooch’. Who finds that sexy? The literal only audience is her.

I would love a film version though because it’d be the perfect bad drunk watch. If she ever starts a kickstarter I’m 100% there.

And this is basically how it looked at the end.

The book is now entitled "Why did it have to be a beefcake end boss?", which shows that she really knows how to fail upwards. The last title did explain the book but was unreasonably long and clunky, this title now explains NOTHING. I still never hear the term 'end boss' anywhere so I'd be confused as hell from the title.
The self-insert no longer looks like a pile of fat and has emphasis on her mega titties (as the first comment on her stream reads, and I quote, "DAMN BOI SHE THICC"). Because I can't see the protagonist as anything other than a self-insert her attempts to sexualise her I find to be pretty sickening.

The bird person is one of the children protagonists in the game that want to eliminate the octopods, so they're "misguided" according to Marzi since they kill octopods "without good reason". Which later in the book the war is a higher power issue I tard out on in the first page in this thread

The octopod is probably Liz as an octotrooper, Lurtz. I think the human is meant to be Nathan, her nephew she bought the game for. Or Jerry, her guy friend that we didn't know was her friend until like 90 pages in, as he was just portrayed as one of her weird co-workers.

Not sure on the other thing though, it could be the octotrooper that helps her when Marzi first enters the game.

I'm sure when she finishes tracing everything and colors it Marzi will explain everything and make it not confusing at all.

Looks like at this point Marzi is just dragging out the amount of attention she can desperately dredge up. Every "update" is heaping more trash onto this dumpster fire. It's clear she's not going to edit her "novel" at all, despite people saying it needs heavy editing, typical Marzi laziness.
