I think he fails to see that when people are watching video game content is to escape politics, and when people want political content, they dont want it from a Divine impersonator (with less than an ounce of the talent he had) who is obssesed with toys and cartoons.
Also, the excess of stock footage is unbearable, is it so hard to record some footage of whatever he is playing and using it? That would be still very lazy, but better than what he is doing.

Gavin's stayed pretty chill. He's got political opinions but he's not at all keen about smearing them all over his works, he dropped outta jims podcast right around when it started really losing it veneer of "talking about videogames" and just became a salty mess, and he's content to enjoy games and make things about games without blaming all the worlds ills on games.

Jim could have learned so much from him, but alas, cows gonna cow.

She uses poisons and pheromones to control the minds of humans, a species she generally contemns, using and abusing as she sees fit. She's the textbook example of non-consent with a strong sexual aspect. Some of her incarnations are so toxic that merely kissing her is fatal and she shows a preference to victimizing people that way, sexualizing the act of murder.

Every last one of those headlines could have been "WB has an event where you beat up a serial rapist" and been just as accurate. Typical media clickbait and outrage farming.

The longer this arc drags on and the more schizophrenic Jim's videos become, I just keep returning to the question: Who does he think his audience is?

Does he really think the lion's share of those 900k+ who subscribed to him wanted to see a man in a wig sperg out about shit that, at best, is only tangentially related to the field Jim made his name in?
