Harry Potter author JK Rowling has become embroiled in a new trans row following comments from a top Scottish cop.

The author posted on social media after Police Scotland said a rape could be committed by a woman if the attacker identifies as a female.

They say the sex or gender identification of individuals who come into contact with the police will be based on how they present or how they self-declare

Kenny MacAskill, former SNP justice secretary, previously asked how police would deal with rapes under new laws designed to make it easier for people to self-identify.

Assistant chief constable Gary Ritchie said there were instances where a rapist could be recorded as a woman if they identify as a female.

Detective Superintendent Fil Capaldi added: "The sex/ gender identification of individuals who come into contact with the police will be based on how they present or how they self-declare, which is consistent with the values of the organization.

"Police Scotland requires no evidence or certification as proof of biological sex or gender identity other than a person's self-declaration, unless it is pertinent to any investigation with which they are linked."

Rowling responded to the assistant chief constable's comments on her own Twitter page.

Quoting an article from The Times, she tweeted: "War is Peace. Freedom is Slavery. Ignorance is Strength. The Penised Individual Who Raped You Is a Woman."

Her comments sparked a reaction on social media, with the incident the latest clash between the writer and trans activists.

She has been embroiled in rows after taking issue with an article discussing "people who menstruate" last year and she also sparked controversy with an essay in which she expressed "concern" about "the huge explosion in young women wishing to transition".

Harry Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Eddie Redmayne are among those to have slammed her views.

The SNP-Green coalition is planning to introduce the Gender Recognition Act in 2022.

Meh, i wonder if she someday wants to write a story about two corrupted govs (one is full capitalist and the other facist/communist) and how the public gonna treat her.
That could be gonna a great shitshow, and Twitter gonna be a real warzone. If they're whinning & crying about the earlier novel about a serial killer tranny; that can be worse... or better.

Who cares? J.K. Rowling is the type of woman to criticize double think when it suits her, and never consider the instances that apply to her politics. If the rapes are being prosecuted I could give a fuck less if they record the perp as female or male.
ALLEGEDLY if the perp is identified as "female" the rape will not be recorded as BritBongs don't have laws against F/F rapes.

If you look at the law, it is a goddamn retarded mess, and this is why the question is controversial. In the UK it is explicit, rape is a crime that can only be committed by a man.

It has been tested a few times, but because of the common law basis, no one really knows how this text will be interpreted until there's a case. It says "he"... Soooo...what if the penis haver is a she? This is complicated by additional case law where women were found not guilty of things most sane people would call rape, simply by virtue of the fact that the law calls out penises and males.

Troon activists claim this is all a ridiculous attempt to strip them of their rights or something. Which is bullshit. The case law on rape and sexual assault in the UK has problems way beyond troons. "no reasonable judge would..."

Yeah. It's the UK. Their judges have proven to be inconsistent on this at best.

I noticed this image being posted a lot as a way to claim she support rapists.
So to debunk this:
This was posted on Manson's twitter the 31st of January. His birthday is the 5th of January. Likely late birthday wishes?
The claims of rape was not posted anywhere until the 1st of Feb 2021, a year later, when this young lady made some claims.
So, this is just poor debate form.
Not surprsingly, from the woke crowd.

Flowery-gift:Jan 2020
Rape-claim: Feb 2021.
Harsh expecting a middle-aged woman half the world away to be able to see the future!
I guess ending flowers to people is off limits now, just in case they end up accused of rape sometime in the future.
