Crafts used to mean an actual skill - weaving, metal smith, pottery, woodwork, enameling, etc.. and it took years to become adept enough to be considered a skilled craftsman.
The term “crafts” has been hijacked by people who think it’s something you buy kits to do or can watch a five minute YT video and are ready to go.
And no they don’t generally make any money doing this crap unless you count $20 a year from church sales or their “Etsy store”
