People doing hard time, even life without parole, actually try their damndest to get into Sing Sing from other prisons in the NYSDOCCS specifically because Sing Sing has the best education system behind bars in the entire state, maybe even the entire country.

Also, let's be perfectly honest here: the types of men she's into are actually more at home in the SHU due to their crimes against children. I sincerely doubt that any self-respecting inmate would humour Jodee if they look up who she is. Every prisoner manages to smuggle in a cell phone nowadays.
