There are always winners and losers in real life. That's just the way life works. This is what happens when you raise kids to expect "participation trophies" and tell them "we're all winners, there are no losers" because you're afraid to hurt their feelings. You're setting them up to fail as adults because they will expect to be rewarded just for being there instead of teaching them to work hard and succeed if they want to win. So now we have a generation of young adults who believe capitalism is evil because it rewards merit and hard work. They can't just sit around doing the bare minimum and make as much as the person who works the hardest or is the most skilled, so now they think that Marxism is the answer despite history proving that it is one of the most oppressive, horrible systems for regular folks. With Marxism the winners are the Party members running the show who get to live in luxury, eat the best foods, and get the best medical care while the losers are the workers who live in squalor, regularly go hungry, and are lucky if their doctor is merely injecting them with saline water instead of lead and arsenic. Until science can invent genuine matter replicators like in Star Trek to provide everyone with everything they need for free and bring us into a post-scarcity society, we will always need a system that rewards the workers with financial and material prosperity to give them incentive to work. All Marxist systems will do is ensure the majority are equally impoverished and oppressed while an even smaller minority remain in power and wealth. Marxism is the Great Lie poisoning the youth of the West and people like Nash are too stupid and lazy to see it. He needs to believe the Great Lie, to believe he will someday see his great geek utopia where he gets all his video games and collectable figures for free without having to work for them, otherwise he will have to admit that he fucked up his own life and admit that he failed himself, not the system.
