John Scalzi is one of the best-known bloggers on the planet. Not putting his name in the OP is terrible. It's also 3 years old.

He's not really a lolcow. You can disagree with him, but he doesn't chimp out or do any of the things that make one a true cow. These follow-up pieces are good evidence of that:
