Don't get me wrong, some of the videos have been highly entertaining. Entertainment value only. However, from a journalistic perspective, they're not that great, too tabloidy. The security money begging started years ago after Sheila showed up an Al-Quds protest in Toronto wearing a ADL (Ant-Defamation League) hat to "Just ask questions"
The Toronto police sent her packing because of the hat, they would have let her stay and do journalism but the hat was a deliberate provocation.
They lied and said she was attacked and didn't have security and needed money to hire one. In fact she was with huge guy named Barry who's a family friend.
Barry is the guy standing next to Sheila in the Dion Bews video that she also claims she didn't have security for. (Barry is the big guy with shades)
I forced Sheila to admit that she had security but when the original video came out they had already hauled in $60,000+ for "Security".

Purely speculation, however JJYS was sentenced to a conditional discharge.
I don't think there's been a document posted anywhere, but Meowmix did order the sentencing transcript and posted an article about it. The key points:
Conditional discharge granted, probation for 12 months.
- Keep the peace and good behaviour.
- Appear before the court when we require you to.
- Notify probation officer of any change in name, address, or employment.
- Report to a probation officer at 502-5330 by 3:00 pm, Sept 22.
- Attend any intake or assessment directed by probation officer.
- May not possess weapon or licenses for two years.
- Victim surcharge is waived.
The BC Provincial Court site has this to say about conditional discharges:
Conditional Discharge – You are placed on probation for a certain length of time, during which you have to follow certain conditions (rules). These could include:
• obeying a curfew
• paying restitution
• working community service hours
• not entering a specified area or having contact with certain people
• engaging in counselling or other programs.

After the probation period is over, if you’ve met all the conditions the discharge becomes complete.

Basically, JJYS has to follow the conditions outlined above for 12 months from sentencing. Conditional discharges are basically a stay-out-of-jail free card. Be an upstanding citizen for your probationary period, don't cause any shit, keep your nose clean, don't get arrested or charged - and you don't go to jail or get a criminal conviction on your record. Break the conditions... and you get to serve time and have a record.
Filing vexatious lawsuits, death threats, making claims of owning firearms, harassing Chris Elston and/or DFS, abusing 911 and filing false police reports - those sound like a violation of the first condition of Keeping the public peace and be of good behaviour.
It sounds as though JJYS is going to have a come-to-jesus moment on 2020-Dec-14?
