Fatboy is on conditional discharge/probation for the weapons charge, and one of it's conditions is to keep the peace. Being convicted of an assault charge will put fatboy at risk of breeching conditions and thus losing the conditional discharge. Since he's already pleaded guilty to the charge, that could mean jail time.

This intrigues me. How can someone demand $$$ compensation when they don't own the flat, don't live there etc - his only claim to fame is that he "rents business space". Makes me think he feels that by adding his name as a co-claimant it throws some sort of serious credibility behind the claim, <shrugs>
I tend to think that if he indeed had "influential" legal friends/relatives he would have been blasting their names everywhere. Look how he was with the Twitter boss, the musical group, dropping Devyn's name etc.
I feel any leniency is down to his incessant "transgender" / "disabled" labels plus the fact that he's obviously mentally retarded. He relies on people being polite and PC and he gets just that. He tries to cover all bases, I'm just surprised he hasn't tried the Jew angle before now.

I've heard this before but I think it's bullshit. There's nothing at all to support this. There's a low level Surrey judge that JY claimed is a family friend but there's no evidence that he has had any effect on the Yanivs. They aren't even liked at their synagogue anymore, from what little I've heard. Everyone is polite, but steers clear.
The reality is 99% of what he does simply isn't illegal, or is so hard to prosecute that they don't.
I think he's got away with most things because he has a successful history of scaring people into silence and he's been granted leniency for being a total fucking retard.
His criminal charges aren't so serious that he's going to end up in jail. He's thankfully never assaulted a child. His lawsuits don't rise to the count of previous vexlits in Canada with hundreds of lawsuits (yet).
That's how I reconcile this in my head. There's no conspiracy, and even the trans shield was fairly short lived and didn't protect him from much. These days he's on everyone's radar, he's been charged 6x and his aunt and mom another 5. He's being crushed in court, even by other losers. He can't get work or clients. He can't get a date. He's an expert researcher of scams, handouts, and freebies, but a complete fucking dumbass at everything else. I don't think there's any judge or politician out there putting their own careers on the line for the Yanivs. I'm sure the yanivs have told people they're connected to scare people but there's no evidence of it.
I think they're just a loudmouth family that got too brig for their britches and it's too hard to brush under the rug now.

I take what he says and/or implies about having a judge in the family or whatever with a pinch of salt as much as I do with everything else he claims...even down to the majority of his freebie claims, which I feel are just claims simply to rile folks. He's a well-documented everyday liar, hell he can't even be truthful on legal documents/under oath so lying on SM is a walk in the park.
As kids we were told the same "be polite but steer clear" re a special kid on the street. Which was fine, of sorts, when he was small, the real problems started when he got to the age and size where no one could control him and his mother's excuses could no longer shield him. yaniv's no different. I feel the yanivs are feeling the effects of jon boy not having that polite pass card anymore. Actions now have consequences and those consequences are a long cry from misbehaving in the classroom.
He's a proven loser in every aspect of his life...he failed as a male and is failing even worse as a "female". This is as good as it gets for him and his family, lumbering from one court case to another and losing every time. Even one successful $35K court case won't clear his debt, get him a job, get him respect, get him a partner and/or friends, make him likable or attractive, won't diminish the scorn and revulsion folks have for him, won't make him less retarded/emotionally stunted, and definitely won't buy him or his family any class.

It's about control with yaniv. As the past has proved he tries to dictate when a case should be heard, who presides, who is allowed to attend, who should be barred. where they should sit etc...more fool the court system for giving this imbecile such leeway.
He was on about wanting a "service dog" a while back, getting one (if indeed he is doing) doesn't happen overnight yet he leaves it until the last minute to mention this to the court...again, more fool the courts for allowing him to dictate their calendars.
I don't know what argument he used to delay this case as he seems to be travelling about willy nilly, living his daily life just dandy, even attending court without the use of a dog yet all of a sudden its presence is imperative. <shrugs>
