Honestly im kinda torn.

On the one hand yaniv has been the best legit cow we have covered for years...possibly since the classic chris era, and has provided some of the most cinematic and absurd shit we have witnessed and which has been so fucking crazy its even penetrated normiesphere, and so having this cut off by a stint in jail would indeed be a buzzkill

On the other hand, yaniv genuinely fucking worries me.

I am worried he will try to ruin the lives and livelihoods of more innocent people just to get off on abusing the most vulnerable women he can find using canada's worthless fucking tribunal system.

I am worried he will go into a violent tard rage against somebody who aint able to stand up to a few punches or scramble away from him and do legitimate damage to somebody too old/frail/small to resist.

And I am really fucking worried that his obsession with getting negative attention to feed his ego and his open pedophilia and obsession with getting access to kids will eventually come together in the worst way imaginable.

The "silent majority" (or the "phantom majority" as I like to call it) seems much less reliable than the very tangible majority that still voted Liberal or NDP this past fall, even with all of this shit going on.
If there is an imminent tipping point, I am very curious as to what would have to happen to precipitate it.
As far as I am aware, neither Toronto nor Ottawa are on any fault lines, so I doubt that any sort of national restoration of sanity will be forthcoming in the near future.

I don't think there is any way that the authorities would go forward with this case. He said/she said. No physical evidence. Doesn't report for several days -- even though it allegedly happened while he was in a building with tons of police present. There's no way, even if it did actually happen (it didn't), that they could secure a conviction.

Does Yaniv have the option of filing a private prosecution for this one as well? I would definitely sue him for libel, though. He's doubling down on it and I would not let him get away with a bald faced lie like that.

They wouldn't say anything publicly even if they were identified. Rape centers are somewhat sacred places when it comes to protecting their abused and vulnerable clients, so they aren't going to do or say anything that might violate that trust with their legitimate clients. Even if they thought he was full of shit, which they likely do, I'd be shocked if they made any public statements whatsoever. Thanks to Oger they're probably terrified of doing the wrong thing here.
