Twitter has escalated the censorship bigtime. They threatened legal action in the UK against someone tweeting about Yaniv.

Even after all the fuckery I can hardly believe it. Twitter threatened legal action against one of their own users for tweeting? Has that ever happened before?

It all seems insane to me - did someone actually run this past the Twitter legal team, or has some troon somewhere in the Twitter hierarchy completely lost it?

Just thought of something; if J.Y. ever gets busted for anything involving a minor, there's a possibility that there may be a media ban on Yaniv's name - not to protect Yaniv but to protect the identity of underage victims. So you may see news articles but with vague information.

(There was a huge case in Ontario recently with a child pornography ring that was busted; at least one culprit is unnamed in media because he victimised his own family members. That case has nothing to do with Yaniv; just an example of media ban in Canada).

However if this ever happens with Yaniv, the details here are unusual enough that we would know exactly who the article is about. We would see something like "On Thursday a 32 year old Langley resident was arrested for (insert offence here: inappropriate sexual conduct with an underage music group that they managed? Soliciting of minors in Facebook groups? Etc)." Anyone reading the news with any familiarity with Yaniv would get that "hey, wait a minute, this sounds familiar" reaction.

We will know it has happened as soon as DCMA complaints stop getting filed and people stop getting banned on Twitter.

She said it was supposedly in regards to "hateful conduct," so it could have been a matter of them saying they would contact the police rather than anything requiring Twitter's lawyers.

She said later it was "hateful conduct" and removed the post and "heard no more." The email might say differently. But based on the content at hand, this sounds like this was just an auto-ban, same as dozens of other Yaniv posts and not Twitter threatening explicitly to sue her over it, though she may have interpreted it that way.

See, I thought way back when it came out that WordPress had edited someone's post on behalf of Yaniv, that it probably wasn't true. I couldn't believe they'd really do that. But Wordpress did, and things got worse from there.

I doubt Debbie Hayton is lying, but maybe Yaniv spoofed a convincing email pretending to be from Twitter. But it would be very consistent with everything that's happened so far, if it is actually true. Because throughout this whole thing, the weirdness from the big tech companies kept on escalating.

Dude has video of Jack Dorsey doing an embarrassing peniscopter dance in his living room? I don't know, but no random low-effort troon has this much pull without more to the story. In the former USSR attitudes towards LGBT is very different from the west and most people simply don't think about transgender individual. It's just not on their mind and they don't earn enough to care. The people who are transgender (transexual?) don't make a big fuss about it. Gender roles tend to be a lot more "stereotypical" than in the west. There are certain expectations from women and others from men and for the most people go with it (note: this doesn't have to a patriarchal model).

I also wouldn't read too much into this. Western countries have their own problems and so do former USSR republics.

As an addition, the only people who really care about trans issues in Russia are usually exceptional individuals who just parrot Western feminist and liberal rhetorhic without any care for how well their bitching and moaning about blackface fits here.
One comes to mind in particular, a girl under the nickname NixelPixel. She'd definitely have a thread here if someone Russian-speaking bothered enough to write up an OP as she's besides just mindlessly copying whatever the Western feminists think NixelPixel's also pretty spergy, in particular I remember a bit where a fan of her sent her a message asking her how to deal with the loss of a family member. NP herself was dealing with her dad dying brain cancer, and the fan had her boyfriend's mother die of cancer on the day she sent her message, and, probably figuring NixelPixel's a nice girl who could give some advice.
What NixelPixel chose to do is to post the private message on instagram or some other social media for all to see, and also add in some of her bitching.

It's a touch off-topic to go into this crazy creature preaching tolerance on one hand and going nuclear on a fan hoping to get advice on how to deal with loss on the other, but this should about sum up the Russian feminists for you. Besides Internet sperging they also Photoshop themselves on a Kremlin tower and pretend they really did make it there and hanged their poster with 'National idea - feminism' on it.

So what's the plan if Null and others get permanently suspended from Twitter and/or Youtube? This is the problem with having so few social media platforms; once they all ban you, where do you go to get the word out? The average person doesn't know what kiwifarms is, and the ones that do tend to think this place is a dark corner of the internet where elite hackers doxx and harass innocent children into suicide, so they don't bother coming here to read anything.

Yup, this is exactly what I thought of the farms before I actually sat down and took a proper look.

I think there's a chance some of this defense he gets is from the ultra progressives trying to save face. Jonathan is literally everything wrong that could come from being so loose and unofficial with gender. He's that exact character conservatives conjured up in opposition to allowing transgendered people into women's restrooms. He's creepy, barely passes, seems to fantasize on preying on the young, and his hunting ground of choice is in fact the public restroom. He's a political boogieman made flesh imagine if Fox learned of his existence.

Yeah, but when Tommy Robinson made a video off court property and mentioning no information that wasn't public they were efficient enough to arrest him, process him and have in prison within the hour.

I.e. if you're a protected group you can get away with turning thousands of children into sex slaves and the powers that be will cover for you. If you mention that cover up and embarrass powerful people, the system can move pretty quick.

Someone once described this sort of system as 'Anarcho Tyranny'. I.e. if you're a protected minority you can get away paedophilia and the system will cover it up and drag its heels about prosecuting you. If you're not in a protected group - and statistically the odds are that you are not - it will come down on you like a tonne of bricks if you comment on this sort of thing, even if you didn't break any of the vast number of laws designed to catch you out.
