Mito is a very popular munchie diagnosis especially in munch-by-proxy. That article hits a few perfect munchie beats, for example - it's badly underdiagnosed despite being crippling! It causes fatigue exactly the same way that depression does! It mostly affects women! You can treat it with vitamins!
I'm extremely skeptical of otherwise healthy working adults who claim they have a mito disease - if you are healthy enough to live a normal life and be fertile, is it really "dysfunction"? It's a very convenient excuse for Jonathan and he's already leaning on a brain tumor that is 100% bullshit. There is nothing remarkable about his health that isn't explained by being a fat, fat fucker with some cognitive impairment within normal standard deviations. Uncontrolled diabetes alone leads to gradual cognitive decline. The mito stuff does suggest that his malingering may be partially learned behaviour from his mom, though.

Quickly joining in, but... is Yaniv on HRT? I'm asking for a reason. HRT for MtFs is known to cause fatigue and even possible heart issues- this could explain the heavy breathing after only talking. Plus his pain (shooting from breast glands to his armpit/arm) could be caused by hormones too.
As for cancer, namely breast cancer, my uncle had it and he's a normal guy. Put sex hormones into a body that can't handle them and it's not that unlikely to develop. Not that I believe him, not necessarily. Still, there are illnesses more likely to occur in people with high estrogen levels. Also, if you take estrogen, there are 3 options. 1) You only take estrogen. Usually not recommended, because a combination of estrogen and testosterone is not great for health. And the changes are way slower. 2) You take it together with hormonal blockers- these have been known to cause some nasty side effects anywhere from fatigue to heart issues. 3) Taking estrogen and opting for castration. This is pretty common, because the effects of estrogen are usually stronger and you don't need to take blockers. Unfortunately, sometimes kidneys still produce testosterone and the amount varies.
I have no clue if Yaniv is on HRT, but I think many small issues could also be linked to transitioning. Some bodies handle it, some don't.
