If Jon wanted to cover his tweets, he could've simply scrubbed it off his twitter. Even if people already archived them, there still would've been less of a chance that others would discover them. Personally, I think that he's actually sharing those articles in response to people on the internet calling him dumb after the circus show in the HRT and subsequently on Twitter. Jon is most likely trying to bounce back on 'his' tech knowledge to prove his intelligence.

I've always assumed that whatever is published on his trustednerd site is ripped directly from press releases, and that he has somehow scripted twitter to link to his site. If you go back through his twitter timeline there seem to be flourishes of 'tweets' in rapid succession linking to articles.

It's been a while but this was very common a few months ago. Jonathan would do something stupid/damaging on Twitter and once he realized it he would bury it in press releases.
