I don't fully agree that Yaniv is enjoying this bad publicity. I think he just acts like he is not bothered because he is too proud to admit otherwise. I mean, he screamed at HRT on his sockpuppet account to reinstate the publication ban, that doesn't sound to me like someone who is enjoying the bad publicity.

I don't think his strategy is that well-planned, more about whatever potential for drama presents itself at any given moment. He's already bragged about sending suicide threats to the tribunal to get the initial ban, so good drama there, but he can't resist more opportunities as they present. Hence tweets, facebook, radio and TV appearances, and then cycles back to "I am being persecuted, ban everyone, and sue them"

I would expect a real court (even in Canada) to demand clinical proof of his genital configuration from a licensed physician. I doubt he'd get contempt for refusing; the court would just refuse to accept his word on the matter by itself and wouldn't consider it factually relevant to the case.

Generally, testimony not backed by other evidence is considered when rendering judgement. It's usefulness and truthfulness is weighed by the tryer of fact, who is free to give it no credibility or treat it as gospel truth.

Otherwise, every he said/she said case would go absolutely nowhere.
