Other than twenty-four minutes of Yaniv being creepier than usual, I don't see any real value to this.

The completely dark video of him recording his neighbors was nothing, no noises, no image aside from a light near the bottom of the frame that kept moving, hes an idiot and i bet they were watching a movie.
Now the car one is pretty interesting, he claims they were going at it, and dudes hand was somewhere that he didnt want to know, they werent doing anything but talking and the dude actually bends toward her a few times to kiss her, that was it. Hopefully she catches wind of this video and her and her beau decide to throw some kind of charge at Yaniv, he had no business recording, and absolutely no business to say what he did and live stream it on top of that. Wasnt he told not to have the camera in the window in the first place???

Well irl value is strata is voting on banning residents from having surveillance cameras so this couple seeing it makes it a bigger issue. That only really affects me though, I think for KF it's pretty bizzare/funny for someone to post a 20ish minute creeper video of people supposedly doing it, no?

Also, don't worry about the drone. It's a humour website people are going to post funny ideas without being totally serious about it. I'm obviously not flying a music playing drone but it'd be hilarious to watch his reaction.

Imagine if he used any of his time to make anyone else's life, or even his own, better. Like, zero percent of his time and energy is spent on improving anything around him, it's insane. Even chris-chan like, builds lego and draws shitty comics sometimes at least, occasionally experiences some joy not derived from creeping on or harassing others.

Yaniv probably has overly long creepy videos of everyone that regularly comes to the condos. I assume somewhere on his hard drive, between the child porn and a 37 page long word document detailing his plans for WGkitty, there is a video of the garbage men with Yaniv mumbling about what they're doing is "totally illegal."

You can't be kicking someone as they scream for mercy and you MUST be the one who reports the altercation to police, cooperate, etc. But Amy Hamm could have kicked yaniv in the balls and hog tied him in that women's bathroom if he'd approached her.

The law in Canada in terms of self defense is pretty cut and dry.

Self-defence against unprovoked assault
34. (1) Every one who is unlawfully assaulted without having provoked the assault is justified in repelling force by force if the force they use is not intended to cause death or grievous bodily harm and is no more than is necessary to enable him to defend himself.

Extent of justification
(2) Every one who is unlawfully assaulted and who causes death or grievous bodily harm in repelling the assault is justified if

(a) they cause it under reasonable apprehension of death or grievous bodily harm from the violence with which the assault was originally made or with which the assailant pursues his purposes; and(b) they believes, on reasonable grounds, that he cannot otherwise preserve himself from death or grievous bodily harm.

Self-defence in case of aggression
35. Every one who has without justification assaulted another but did not commence the assault with intent to cause death or grievous bodily harm, or has without justification provoked an assault on himself by another, may justify the use of force subsequent to the assault if

(a) they use force(i) under reasonable apprehension of death or grievous bodily harm from the violence of the person whom he has assaulted or provoked, and(ii) in the belief, on reasonable grounds, that it is necessary in order to preserve himself from death or grievous bodily harm;(b) they did not, at any time before the necessity of preserving himself from death or grievous bodily harm arose, endeavour to cause death or grievous bodily harm; and(c) they declined further conflict and quitted or retreated from it as far as it was feasible to do so before the necessity of preserving himself from death or grievous bodily harm arose.

Provocation
36. Provocation includes, for the purposes of sections 34 and 35, provocation by blows, words or gestures.

Preventing assault
37. (1) Every one is justified in using force to defend himself or any one under his protection from assault, if they use no more force than is necessary to prevent the assault or the repetition of it.

Extent of justification
(2) Nothing in this section shall be deemed to justify the wilful infliction of any hurt or mischief that is excessive, having regard to the nature of the assault that the force used was intended to prevent.

Jonathan has been very lucky so far in the cases where he has tried to assault people or cause provocations that he hasn't had someone stove his face in. I think Yaniv realizes this, which is why he's only attempted to assault press so far. They just want to document his insanity, where as a member of Joe Public probably wouldn't put up with him flailing about at them and just knock him over.

Yaniv did have that parkade incident last July that led to his being in the ER (of course) for what he said were facial injuries after a confrontation with a 60+ woman. I wonder if there are actually a number of these lurking in RCMP Langley's files.

As far as I know, we never learned the disposition of any case the crown may have filed. Hilarious that he claimed the HRT gag order - that he himself constantly broke - would have protected ickl himsy from such harms.

You quoted the defense laws in Canada from about 20 years ago. Because of issues and ambiguities identified by courts, section 34-37 were completely revamped and rewritten about a decade ago with Bill C-26. Bill C-26 received royal assent around 2012 and came into effect in the first quarter of 2013. I'm fairly certain the woman is, I think that's her boyfriend? There aren't a lot of rentals allowed here so almost everyone is an owner.

Random Yanny thought, I recently read LR's tweets about Yanny and his mom running out on the balcony yelling HERE KITTY KITTY (bonus points for how hilarious Miriam would sound yelling that).
