I just can't fathom the game he's playing anymore. I agree with the assessment of the bchrt that his waxing complaints were financially motivated. With that now done, why does he continue to seek drama? There is no gain for him anymore, not financial, not sexual, and not ideological. I can only conclude that his only remaining element keeping him in this whole game now is something to be found only in the latest edition of DSM.

The problem is that you're trying to rationalize his actions from a sane point of view. From what I've seen so far, I don't think he understands what he is doing is wrong or morally corrupt. It's like one of those villain archetypes where the bad guy truly believes that he/she is helping society but causes harm in the process. I believe the disconnect in the reasoning/justification for Yaniv is a result of some mental illness. And if I had to guess, I'd say he is probably a schizophrenic with an extreme form of autogynephilia. His schizophrenia blurs the lines between reality and fantasy (where he is a woman). It would certainly explain his predilection towards tampons and other "womanly" conduct such as getting a Brazilian waxing or going to the obgyn.

Or he could be the great con man ever.

I think that, like a compulsive gambler, he frantically needs a "win" in a system he tried to beat and also is trying to redeem himself publicly as having been right in the first place. He was never wrong - Devyn misunderstood him. I do think he's still after $$$, though. He wants a new HRT decision in his favor to wipe out the debts his losses created.

Can I ask you how you do this? I love these posts, they're so informative. Do you have a spreadsheet on your computer or are you just memorizing all these details and links?

The health monitors I started keeping last April have proven useful in other contexts, yes, because Yaniv tends to announce health crises shortly before or after milestones. He's spewing less information for the monitors now, so I should probably just separately log key events with links.

The other tool I use is Null's search feature in the upper right corner, selecting "This forum" to search across all Yaniv threads while picking up nothing from the rest of KF.

Scrolling through the OPs of the main thread and FAQ is another good way to hit links to likely spots in the threads.

In the case of Domino, I started with a memory and a screenshot:

Somewhere on KF, I knew, was a link to a story about peculiar burglars who broke in to feed pot to a dog, and for the health monitors I had saved @sixthwave's cap of a Facebook announcement Yaniv made, ostensibly while in an ambulance, stressing over his dog dying. The search box served up the burglary article and the date stamp on the FB cap gave me a timeframe to check for more about the dog in the threads. Extras, like the dog's probable name, popped up coincidentally.

Seems some on Twitter have had their feelings hurt by the OP's opinion, an opinion that got lost in the ensuing "you're being hateful" outrage.

The first time I noticed him saying he was on HRT was in April 2019. He continued to say that through the year, showing a pill packet labeled for 2mg of estradiol in his morning meds last August.

A one-time friend, Katie, said he was indeed taking HRT, and in September last year, he DM'ed another woman, MandaPanda, that he'd just begun getting two hormone injections at a time as part of a new GRS program at Vancouver General.

edit: On October 16, 2019, he said it marked "one year of being a girl," meaning he'd begun taking hormones on October 16, 2018.

I don't think I ever listened to that video in full before. Was surprised that Yaniv talks about assaulting a Rebel reporter named Toby (Toby Keith?) at a transit hub. Maybe that was his first physical conflict with Rebel.

He did have a confrontation at Skytrain after or near the end of the HRT hearings last summer. Anybody know if that was the Toby incident? Yaniv was so unctuously thankful to the RCMP on that one. (This was not about the guy photographing him on a train easily jumping on and off his mobility scooter - it was another fracas.)

In the video @pr3nt177's posted, Yaniv says he was doing "gorilla marketing" at the time the conflict began. On behalf of gorillas everywhere, I must protest such defamation.

These are all private prosecutions and I think they’re limited access to protect the reputation of the “accused”.

I feel sorry for the Crown dealing with this. The Surrey office is already stretched to the breaking point with real crime. Some poor articling student or one-year call is going to get all these applications and be told to fix them. Said Crown will then have to patiently deal with crazy JY, who is essentially saying the Crown doesn’t know how to do it’s job. And because JY identifies as trans, the Crown will have to be gentle and sensitive rather than tell him to pound sand.
