Why is Jon so incredibly ugly? Nothing on his face is deformed, there's no single element that stands out as being "this is why his face looks weird". Like with most ugly people, you can look at them and your eye is instantly drawn to whatever is making them look weird. "That guy has a super weak jawline", "that girl has huge bushy eyebrows" etc. Jon doesn't have a particularly weird nose, or mouth, or eyes, or anything else on his face that stands out as the defining factor in his repulsiveness.
But somehow, this particular arrangement of otherwise mundane features forms a face that only a mother could tolerate. It's fascinating.

His Facial symmetry is completely off, he might have normalish facial features when taken out of the context of his face, but they're arrangement is just shy of a Pablo Picasso painting.
