I'm pretty sure he actually does have hearing problems. Jonathan made his Twitter account private again so you'll have to take my word on this until he makes it public again but there were multiple tweets where he talked about hearing loss and retweeted articles discussing it. He also reviews hearing aids (like this one). He says he doesn't have much of a hearing impairment but I've never heard of someone wearing hearing aids when they have no need for it (but then again he's a man who wears tampons so who knows what other weird things he does)

His aunt is deaf, or so Yaniv states in the elevator complaint. So it being hereditary ups the likelihood, I would guess.

You're right that not all of those 30k are going to be friendly, and it only takes 1 zoe quinn to zerg 30k gamers. It's been done to people with more experience doin this shit than you. KEEP THAT MINDSET.

Also VERY MUCH YES. The more "real" an account is the less likely it's shadowbanned, it's low in the scroll, etc. If people are following each other messages are more likely to show up so having followers, and following people BUT NOT TO MANY etc are important. Quality matters.

I wouldn't put it out of the picture, but this could also just be him scrolling through those artist's Twitter pages (as 29 year old men often do) to look for easy targets/get this article written and out of the way for some SEO or something.

Yeah, TERFs in long-term will get shit done. Media has spent good part of last decade creating a narrative and simply cant now turn around and say "hey, dont believe these all-female groups of feminists" only because now they dont fit the agenda they like.

Male journos avoid using term TERF as a plague, they dont touch that stuff with 10 foot pole and female ones dont really want to go to that territory at all. And when they do, their narrative is WHITE INCELS are against these oppressed groups.
