I'm confused about this. According to the MM article he requested to be heard by phone, his request was granted, and he still showed up, which even puzzled the judge, as the article states (bolding mine)
"UPDATE 6 – 3:27 PM PST: Kari was allowed to address the court and the Judge thanked her for supporting DFS. Donald is keeping his cool and doing great in court. Yaniv is up now. The Judge has already asked why he is here and not on the phone like he demanded. Court is back in."
So why show up to court anyway to bitch and worsen his case?

He did originally win the right to attend over the phone, but then he filed a motion to postpone todays hearing so he could get a lawyer and a service dog. In order to attempt to postpone the hearing today he had to attend today. His motion failed as the judge was having none of it.
a few years ago there were a ton of those sort of groups in bc but pretty much all of them have disappeared probably because they had so many people hating on them, filing lawsuits and having the police press charges against there members

Yaniv had requested to appear by phone and his request was granted. But then, on Friday, he requested to delay the proceedings which had to be done in person. They scheduled both hearings together. JYS probably thought that he could get the delay without appearing or before the scheduled hearing. As it turns out, he had to go to court and face Donald so his personality disorders were on full display.
You might have a screw loose if this sentence has ever applied to you.

A while back I started jotting down some of his losses and gains. Here's a screenshot of a very rough $$$ tally. A loss of $235,787.00+
Obviously, the early waxers paid him unknown $$$, the exact "fines" he wanted from others are not known due to Devyn naffing him off but he was talking thousands of $$$ each. goinglikeelsie reported that yaniv mentioned the figure of 500,000 he wanted from JCCF.
Anyway, just rough notes of jonathan yaniv's superb court successes. I'd like to find the time to document each and every filing and verify that "loss" figure, maybe some day.
eta: more than happy for any corrections (maths isn't my strong point) and any cases I've omitted.

Ima thinking the next person Yaniv assaults will be the Saul Badman who signed him up. It’s the fine print that kills you. Fatty reads this thread, and definitely reads LR‘s work. He should probably see another lawyer and get some professional advice.

What a greedy dumbshit. He doubtless read the lawyer propaganda stating that a legal-assisted payout from ICBC is often 3x/4x/5x/whateverX then their first offered payout amount. Of course the fine print, as you state, means that the payout may be higher, but the lawyer takes most of it leaving you as little or less then the initial payout amount offered.
Ikkybikky doubtless offered him fuck-all compared to what he felt he deserved, so here we go round the lawyer-go round, and JY's gonna end up burning more hours in court for pennies at best.
