I really doubt that any doctor said “detransition” (and if they did then no doubt they’ll be heading to court soon). Medics in a large Canadian city are going to be well aware that people will identify as trans regardless of surgery. Suggesting that a neo-vag with depth isn’t salvageable seems much more likely, though it would have to be serious for the tissue viability team to give up so quickly and I’m surprised JY’s back home if so. We’ll find out soon enough, I wonder if he’s been sent away to contact Brassard for “aftercare”... good luck with that!
