Maybe he wanted to stand apart instead of being in the crowded market of reviewing video games. He's able to talk about whatever he wants instead of just being restricted to video games. If he just stuck to video games, he wouldn't of made some of his most popular videos like Flex Tape.
Exactly the Felx Tape along went viral on YouTube. To the point they actually got Phil Swift to appear in Felix Tape 2. So his new videos really helps him stand out

Can't argue with that. I'm happy he's successful and doing what he wants, but he really did some of his best work on video games so it's a bittersweet kind of feeling.
it doesn't help that the video game youtube community is legit filled with complete and utter retards at this point
I actually respect Jon a little bit for doing something different. video game youtubers have become ridiculously cringey over the past 5 or 6 years.

Yup. ProJared was found to have supposedly cheated on his wife and exchanged nudes with minors, but they were both disproven. Jared still took a massive hit in subs, and his nudes are now online for the world to see.
