I remember hearing about this channel a few years ago, and I wasn't aware of all the shit that he did. I was talking to someone earlier today and someone brought him up; mentioning how Spirit Science heavily talks about using crystals for healing. Apparently someone ended up dying due to his "advice" because they shoved a toxic crystal up their ass. I don't know if this is actually true or not, but we do have shit like GOOP selling jade eggs to put up your vag.

Lol the first time I encountered a YouTube video I was a bit interested because I was with a friend who REALLY bought into it. It's a friend that had literal cancer throughout his body, and regular treatments didn't work so he got on some combination of CBD and cut out all "the bad stuff" such as smoking, eating animal products and MIRACULOUSLY this guy beat cancer. It was the best and only reason for him to "tap into the divine" and wanted to "connect" with people who were in the same vibe.
Needless to say that he got too woowoo on me after a while and I took a few steps back. He really fucking loves this show and I'm new to this kind of forum so I'm kind of freaking out about finding a topic of this lol.
Edit: Wanted to add that this friend blindly took over the whole "indigo child" thing and called all of his friends indigo children. He convinced himself of the fact that he became a shaman through his cancer experience and SS is his absolute Bible.

Found his videos a long time ago... plus people rebutting them. Enjoyed both. I loved his crazy nonsense. I retooled it as fiction, even, in my own ways. As someone who studies Physics, I can pretty much say that a lot of the stuff this guy says seems pretty out there. He basically just takes some pre-established mythos and philosophy from ancient cultures, and tries everything he can to connect it to Modern Science, even if that probably wasn’t what they had in mind. This channel highlights the problems with trying to connect physical phenomena with philosophy and metaphysical concepts.

I bet you a lot of people that watch Spirit Science almost all of them are from the Adult Swim type of proletariats that smoke huge drugs and try to understand what is happening in a way out kind of way.
That is why I think they have a huge following when they started out. the rebuttals didn't start showing up until they found them by mistake and notice many wrongs than rights so they try to correct them and make jokes about it. It's got to a point where they animated one of their huge YouTube critics in their Spirit Science episode like to call it a peace treaty or something.
I do remember looking into the channel comments for Spirit Science and almost all of the people were folks that hated them due to said rebuttals but almost half if not all of them either want to beat up the founders, dox them online, or want them dead. I know the internet is well known for a bullshit burger that would never happen in real life.
But in some cases where said person does try to take a life of an internet persona? That is when they went out of line. Recent YouTube updates make it so that the comments they get on their videos are not from folks that try to murder them or just fight other users. Like filtering. I know some would call it censorship. But for their case? I can understand why they be worried about that.
Also, for some reason, the rebuttal people were waiting for Spirit Science to make 3D models of their characters so they can use them for NSFW videos. Of Course, SS told them they are not going to upload them for free. But you gotta wonder if a hatedom hates them so much? Why would they wanna do porn of some weird ghost blob of sorts?
That I will never understand. At least most of us here are sane in our own way.

You said it. I think there is some of the rebuttal folks who make videos on SS sometimes act like an asshole than the people SS fans defend in the comments of his video. He sometimes *Quote their words* and try to curse them out telling them they are stupid and retarded and junk. I forgot his name but he acts like an ass more so than SS. Do you know which YouTuber I'm talking about? It's not the guy that got animated in the SS video. It's another guy but he's more of an autistic asshole.
